(GGI) has a Service Purchase Agreement with Family Services - Community Living DisABILITY Services (CLDS). This means that CLDS pays a residential per diem and/or a day program rate for each vulnerable adult living with an intellectual disability that is supported in the agency. And in return the agency’s volunteer Board of Directors takes on the responsibility of providing the programming and supports for each individual. Provincial funding provides for operating costs and wages. To assist the Grandview & District Community Foundation in raising funds, the Exponent has donated a custom-framed edition of the Exponent that features Ryan Pulock as being drafted by the New York Islanders and is autographed by Ryan Pulock. The Exponent made this donation because it recognizes the efforts and contributions that the Grandview & District Community Foundation has made in the community as well as the people who have made donations to the Grandview & District Community Foundation which has enabled the foundation to give back and support the community. Tickets can be purchased at the Exponent office, GV Pharmacy, Pink Petals and the Black Bean, Grandview Home Hardware and Grandview Credit Union. The raffle will be 3 tickets for $5.00 and a draw will be made on April 30, 2014. The custom framed edition will be on display at the Grandview Credit Union starting on Monday, March 3, 2014.
