Fourth Sunday of Lent
This Sunday we hear the story of the Prodigal Son and the
Merciful Father. You may be familiar with Rembrandt’s
famous painting of The Return of the Prodigal Son. It hangs
in many Churches and often has a special palace near the
Confessional.

In the parable, the father sees his son in the distance and
runs out to meet him. In the same way, God is always
pursuing us and offering us his love and forgiveness. We
are now halfway through Lent. It may be a good idea to
begin planning to receive the sacrament of Reconciliation
(Confession) before Easter. How many people are
searching for the peace which this sacrament will bring
them!

MINISTRY OF CONSOLATION
The mission of the Ministry of Consolation is to
walk with and support with loving care those
who are grieving for lost loved ones.
The Ministry of Consolation is looking for volunteers to help with funeral Mass preparations.
Duties would include:
-Contacting the bereaved family to
set up a meeting.
-Make decisions regarding readings,
music and preparation of gifts that
will take place during the Mass for the
deceased.
-Contact one of the cake bakers.
-Attend the funeral Mass.
*They are also in need of bakers*

having their annual Blood Drive. Please

Czwartek oraz Nabożeństwa Wigilii Paschalnej w
Wielką Sobotę. Zapraszamy wszystkich do wzięcia
udziału. Próby odbędą się w trzy wtorki: 8, 15
i 22 marca, o godz. 19:30 w kościele.
ZBIÓRKA PIENIĘDZY NA KWIATY
Podczas następnego weekendu -12-13 marca
przeprowadzimy drugą kolektę - na kwiaty do udekorowania naszego kościoła oraz audytorium z
okazji zbliżających się Świąt Wielkiej Nocy.
Wszyscy ci, którzy otrzymali koperty na kolektę
pocztą, mogą wrzucić je do koszyka podczas
kolekty.
