Cortina winter 2015
hosts the seventh edition of the
BARBARA CAPPOCHIN
INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL ARCHITECTURE
Architecture and fashion at high altitude officially inaugurate the 2015-2016 winter season with the "Barbara Cappochin"
International Architecture Biennial (7- 9 December) and the Cortina Fashion Weekend (5-8 December).
Over one hundred events on the programme, with the Barbara Cappochin International Architecture Biennial as the
highlight.
Theatre of Biennial events:
• Corso Italia with the "5 Tavoli dell’Architettura" exhibition, the traditional showcase for the best works submitted for the
Prize, selected by the International Jury;
• Olympic Ice Stadium, on the evening of 7 December, with awards ceremony and artistic skating show starring
CAROLINA KOSTNER as Special Guest;
• Alexander Hall, with presentation of the winning designers and their works and Conferences of national and international
comparison of innovative experiences in sustainable urban regeneration and land take containment.
Not only architecture but also fashion at high altitude stars at Ponte dell’Immacolata in Cortina, with events, exhibitions,
previews, premieres and fashion night on the evening of 5 December. And for art lovers, the exclusive exhibition of
Pinturicchio’s "Madonna with Child" at the Mario Rimoldi Museum of Modern Art.
