Kabali tickets resold online
at exorbitant rates

Smart operators hit the social media with tickets for the Rajanikanth
starrer Kabali on the opening day on July 22.
Sale of movie tickets in ‘black’ through social networking sites like
Facebook and Twitter become rampant, with the sellers making a killing
by offering these tickets for exorbitant prices.
Though the Tamilnadu Government has fixed Rs.120 as the maximum
price of a movie ticket, the going rate for the opening show was
anywhere from Rs.500 to 1,500.
“I am a hardcore Rajani fan and bought three tickets for the opening
show through a Facebook contact for Rs. 650 each”, said Abhisekh, a
banking professional from T. Nagar.
That, however, may not be the final figure in some cases. “Though the
seller agreed to sell me six tickets at Rs.1,000 each over phone, he
demanded Rs.1,200 when I went to collect them from him directly in T.
Nagar,” said S Sadhish, a software professional.

in the city.
Amma Auditorium in Shenoy

at affordable rates in these theaters, a decision on which will be
taken by the State Government
shortly.
The hall at present can accommodate 500 persons and is let out
for public functions and stage
shows. It was renovated in 2010
and the frontage given a facelift

According to nearby residents, the sewage water has
been overflowing for several
