ways to
property investment
Property investment is a highly-sought method to preserve one’s future. So most people tend to naturally go into it without
actual understanding on what they are doing. Should you be thinking of taking the plunge, the following tips might make
understand the market
Before making any major decisions or begin narrowing down your property search, it is crucial to understand the market. Try to
search for property prices of your desirable area, both within the state and nationwide. Inspect the market trend and see where does
your area fit into the cycle. This will serve as guideline for you to develop realistic expectations. Best not to limit your research to
merely sales. The rental return that you obtain is equally crucial, thus make sure to understand the rental market too.
remember why you are buying
The most common mistake made by most amateur property investor is to forget the core reason they purchase a property. Rather
than purchasing the most suitable property for the investment portfolio, they became emotionally attached and start thinking as if they
are purchasing the unit for themselves. To avoid this issue, always bear in mind that it's not a need to fall in love with the property as it
merely needs to meet the needs of the rental market.
make your inspection
Before purchasing any property, it is immensely important to get professional inspection on the building to ensure that it is structurally
sound and free from pest infestation. This is a pivotal step in any property purchase, yet most people often view it as unnecessary cost
they can skimp on, which can be a costly mistake.
treasure good tenants
Keeping your investment properties occupied is equally crucial as selecting the suitable property. If you have reliable tenants that pay
monthly rental on time and hardly create problems, it's advisable to make an effort to keep them as long as possible. Encourage them
to sign long term leases, and consider rewarding them with a small loyalty discount to persuade them that living in your property is a
smart choice.
think long term
If you happen to purchase a property prior to a spike in prices, it is possible to make tonnes of money within a short period. Property
investment should be generally viewed as a long term strategy. As long as you are ready to hold on to your property through the good
and bad times, there's no need to worry about temporary shift of prices. Even if you purchase a property at the peak of the market,
you are still bound to make profits should you keep it long enough.

After briefing on the rules and safety measures of the games, participants kicked off the activities with
Monkey Business – which requires a great deal of balancing skills on tight ropes and upper body strength.
It is sectioned into three levels with increased difficulties – challenging courage, physical coordination and
mental agility. Level one was rather straightforward, but can be quite a challenge for people with fear of
heights. Participants were seen climbing and swinging with ropes from tree to tree, and walking across logs
for the routine.
Out of the five activities, flying lemur was believed to be the toughest and the most grueling one.
Participants were required to hike approximately 30 metres above the ground and tackled four zip-lines
(139metres) across the ravine. Some embraced it with such pleasure – enjoying the breeze as they glide
through the trees. Others were seen screaming all the way from line to line. But everyone made it! Bravo!
Everyone had such great fun at ESCAPE. Kudos to all participants for displaying such an outstanding
team effort, determination, persistence and courage in completing all the activities. We certainly look
forward to more adrenalin pumping events. We are ready for round 2. Bring it on!
