A Map of Trengganu by London based writer, Wan Ahmad
Hulaimi, under his pen name, Awang Goneng, made its debut in
London on 17 April, 2011. This is the third book by Wan
Hulaimi, after the success of Growing Up in Trengganu and the
coffee table book, Selangor: A Celebration. A Map of Trengganu
is the sequel for Growing Up in Trengganu, which chronicles the
growing up years of the author in Trengganu. Present at the
introduction of the book at Tuk Din's restaurant in Paddington

Easter Cup 2011 Football Challenge
London April 3, 2011 - The Easter Cup 2011 11-a-side football tournament was held at North Acton playing fields.
The highly anticipated annual sporting events held by London UMNO Club have attracted 12 teams from across the
country. Hicom FC had an easy game through the group stage and quarter finals before losing 0-1 to Brunei B at
the semi finals. The fight for third place against Queensway FC ended in a 0-0 draw which brought the game to a
shoot-out. Queensway FC won 5-3 on penalties. This year’s tournament saw His Excellency Datuk Zakaria Sulong in
the midfield sporting the no. 2 kit. The High Commissioner’s presence in the team have had a major impact in
boosting the team’s spirit through to the semi finals. Congratulations to all the players and supporters. All the best

- MARCH 20, 2011: The Forum Perdana Ehwal Islam was held for the

Cardiff, 2 April, 2011 - Football Association of Malaysia Vice President YAM Tengku
Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah visited Cardiff City Football Club in a bid to strengthen the
tie between the Youth Academy and Cardiff City FC. Cardiff City's world class training
facilities will be use to train young talents and coaching staffs from Malaysia. Football
Academies will also be set up in Kuala Lumpur and across other states nationwide.
Cardiff City Development Programme has recently started the Youth League in Malaysia
for under 12, 14 and 16. Tengku Abdullah asked Malaysians to recognise the effort of
Cardiff City FC and the huge potential that it has in bringing Malaysian football to a world
class level. He says “maybe one day we might see a Malaysian playing for Cardiff City
FC”.
