VISION STATEMENT As a parish under the patronage of Mary, Our Lady, we are called like her, to draw others to Christ. In the midst of this community of Marysville, we recognize the call from Almighty God to be the light that draws others to believe in God. We must make Christ present by the way we live and the way we love each other. Forgiving always; being Christ to others ALWAYS! SIEMPRE! Father Tom McMichael, Parish Priest Dear Friends, The St. Mary Cemetery is a wonderful and longstanding ministry of our parish. The presence of our beloved dead remind us of the communion we share with them and all Christians in Christ Jesus. This communion of faith and prayer unites us with them and with all our brothers and sisters who have gone before us. Because of an immediate need for clarification and direction in our cemetery ministry, I am announcing the formation of the St. Mary Cemetery Committee. This new consultative committee will assist me in working to strengthen this ministry now and for years to come. St. Mary member and Knight of Columbus Mark Gorrell has generously said “yes” to my request to serve as chair of this new committee. Other members include: Joe Dietlin, Fred Dockendorf, Clarene Schadee, and Sarah Wilson. Besides these five members I am appointing Deb Hart as staff liaison and Fred Smathers, John Campbell, and Aggie Mikula as resource people for the committee. I thank all these St. Mary members for their help with this important ministry of our parish. Please feel free to share your perspective on the cemetery with them. God bless, Fr.
