INSTALLATION GUIDE Aria SmartFlowâ„¢ Thermostatic Shower Mixer ASCSMC System Requirements MINIMUM 70kPa (10.15psi) MAXIMUM 500kPa (72.51psi) Operating Hot Water Temperatures 55° C 80° C Operating Cold Water Temperatures 5° C N/A Operating Pressures Note - Do not plug outlet when testing. This shower mixer will function with pressures as low as 36kPa and as high as 700kPa, but for the best results, a minimum of 70 kPa and a maximum of 500kPa supply pressure is recommended. *For unequal pressure installations, 55ºC - 65ºC hot water temperature is recommended. If the pre-set maximum hot temperature is unsuitable for the installation, i.e. too hot or too cold, adjust the maximum hot temperature limit as below: 1. Remove grub screw cover and loosen grub screw on temperature control knob, but leave the temperature control knob on. 2. Turn the mixer on, set to full hot and test the water temperature. 3. Carefully slide the temperature control knob approximately 3mm out towards you, without fully removing it from the spline. This allows the temperature control knob to be disengaged from the current maximum hot temperature limit stop, and to be adjustable to your desired maximum hot temperature limit. 4. Turn the partially removed temperature control knob until desired maximum hot temperature is achieved. (Turn anti-clockwise to increase maximum hot temperature, turn clockwise to decrease maximum hot temperature) 5. Remove handle fully and re-fit it on the splines so that the temperature control lever is pointing to the very end of the red indicator line (indicating the maximum hot temperature). The temperature control knob should now be engaged with the maximum hot temperature limit stop, at your desired maximum hot temperature limit. 6. Test the water temperature again. 7. If the desired maximum hot temperature limit has not been achieved, repeat steps 4 to 6. 8. Tighten grub screw on temperature control knob and re-fit grub screw cover. SERVICING CARTRIDGES To find out where you can purchase a replacement cartridge, please ring Felton on 0800 743 358 1. Turn off water supply. 2.
