HOW IT WORKS
SQU.ID®
The
SQ.200 is designed
for one-way, phrase-based language
translation. Users can choose to
translate in PUSH TO TALK Mode (Eyes
Free), Voice Recognition Mode (Hands
Free, Eyes Free), or Manual Mode. To
translate a phrase in Voice Recognition
Mode, the user says “TRANSLATOR”
into the headset microphone. This will
open an 8-second window whereby the
user then says the phrase he/she wishes
to translate. The SQ.200 will first verify
the phrase in the headset earpiece to
ensure it is correct, translate into the
target language and then immediately
play the phrase through the SQ.200’s
high fidelity speaker.
