Tiram Indoor Water Park – 15 mins drive
A 15-min dr ive from Silk a Johor Hotel, Tiram I ndoor Water Par k is the first indoor
water theme Located in Today ’s M all, a shopping complex in Ulu Tiram. The water
par k includes water slides and a 26,000 square feet pool area with many fun games
available. With a sea wor ld theme in mind, the par k is decorated by wall paintings
of sea animals and also struc tures of sea plants and animals all designed by
Javanese ar tists.
10. The Pasir Gudang Kite Museum – 15 mins drive
The Pasir Gudang K ite Museum, also k nown as Muzium Layang-Layang Pasir Gudang
is located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and is a 15-min dr ive from Silk a Johor Hotel. I t is
the first in M alaysia which exhibits k ites and a var iet y of mater ials related to k ites.
The museum was built as an appreciation towards the contr ibution of M alaysian and
I nter national k ite fliers. I t was first opened to public in Februar y 2002 dur ing the 7th
I nter national K ite Festival.
11. Pasir Gudang R acing Circuit – 15 mins drive
An inter national standard motor racing venue, the Johor R acing Circuit is a 3.86
k ilometer racing circuit located in Pasir Gudang. O fficially opened in 1986, the track
has hosted a large number of inter national motor racing competitions. I t is also
open to the public who wish to exper ience the thr ills of motor racing.
12. Austin Hills Countr y Club – 15 mins drive
Austin H ills Golf Resor t offers a relaxing environment for those who want to get away
from the hustle and bustle of the cit y, without really being away from home.
13. The Grand Palace Johor – 20 mins drive
The majestic Grand Palace Johor, also k nown as the Royal Abu Bak ar Museum,
showcases the lifest yle of the Johor Sultanate and treasures of the royal collec tion.
Commissioned by Sultan Abu Bak ar in 1984, it is one of the oldest buildings in Johor
Bahru.
14. Sultan Ibrahim Building – 20 mins drive
Located along Jalan Trus, the building of Sultan I brahim was for mer ly used by the
Japanese in Februar y 1942 as a for tress and command centre by the Japanese dur ing
W WII. The 64m high Mughal-st yle tower is the most prominent landmar k in Johor.

16. Danga B ay Water front – 20 mins drive
Danga Bay is one of the highlights of the Isk andar M alaysia and a one -stop leisure
and dining spot by the beach. The three -acre site features an inter national-size
centre stage for wor ld- class per for mances, flank ed by se ven ne w F&B outlets for
all-night long al fresco dinning. The petting zoo with over 180 species has attrac ted
over 20,000 visitors since its opening in 2007. I ts mini theme par k offers some 20

Established in 1928, Zoo J ohor is the place to meet flamingos, elephants, horses and
much more. The late J ohor K ing, Sultan I brahim I bni Almar hum Sultan Abu Bak ar,
established the zoo and called it an 'animal garden'. I t was belie ved to be the first
zoo in Asia at the time.

23. Desaru B eaches – 45 mins drive
D esaru beaches lies in the hear t of D esaru, J ohor, one of the most beautiful
unspoiled beaches in the east coast of Peninsular M alaysia. With a 22k m stretch of
uninter rupted beach, D esaru combines the captivating panoramic vie ws of the
S outh China S ea with the lush tropical rainforests, where visitors can have their
choice of fun and adventure or simply rest and relax. With the completion of the
highway, travelling distance from Silk a J ohor Hotel to D esaru is now only 45 mins
away.
24. S arang Buaya Pasir G udang (Pasir G udang Cro co dile Farm) – 45 mins
drive
Apar t from being an industr ial and logistic hub, Pasir Gudang’s RM6mil Crocodile
Far m is built within a 44.1ha public mangrove par k in Tanjung Langsat and in
operation since 2007. With some 15 ponds spread out over the area, the par k is
expec ted to offer visitors boating and fishing ac tivities besides featur ing crocodile
shows.
25. Desaru Fruit Farm – 1 hour drive
D esaru Fruit Far m received the M alaysia Agr iculture Hor ticulture and Agro tour ism
(MAHA) special awards in 2006 as the best agro tour ism site in M alaysia. Situated on
100 acres of land and planted with 10 species of plant and more than 100 var ieties
of tropical fruits, the far m receives tour ists from all over the wor ld. Now with the E22
highway fully open, D esaru Fruit Far m is only 1 hour dr ive from Silk a J ohor Hotel.
26. Desaru Ostrich Show Farm – 1 hour drive
Visitors have an oppor tunit y to come up close to these majestic, tutu-totting bird
baller inas at the Ostr ich Far m. The 500- odd ostr iches thr ive in this environment that
is close to their natural habitat in the wilds. D esaru Ostr ich showfar m aim is to
exhibit the ostr iches to the public. A group of exper ience personnel will guide you
around the far m and educate you and your family about this fascinating creature.

27. Kota Tinggi Fireflies Leisure Park – 1 hour drive
Located at the r iver bank of K ota Tinggi, the leisure par k is a wonder ful place for
