Dexter M. Mitchell
GOFFSTOWN — Dexter Murray Mitchell,
49, died unexpectedly Nov. 9, 2015, at his residence. Born in Boston, he grew up in Weare
and has resided in Goffstown for the past two
years. He was the son of Dexter M. Mitchell Sr.
and Elaine (Moineau) Linville. He is survived
by four siblings, Karen Banks of Nashua,
Steve Pelechowicz of Danville, Dale Mitchell
of Florida and David Mitchell of Litchfield;
three cousins, Dennis Terrio, Cynthia Foss and
Kelly LeClair; many nieces and nephews. In
lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boys
and Girls Club of Manchester, 555 Union St.,
Manchester, NH 03104.
Robert S. Fellows
Peterborough - Robert S. Fellows,
100, of Peterborough, died on Nov. 7, 2015,
at RiverMead, in the loving presence of his
wife and Robert was
born on June 30, 1915,
in Manchester, the son
of John S. Fellows and
Bertha (Francis) Fellows.
Robert is survived by his
loving wife of 68 years,
Carolyn (Chase) Fellows;
his three children: Rev.
Robert C. Fellows of Greenland, Marilyn
Fellows Kellogg of Kingston, and James D.
Fellows of St. Augustine, FL; and his sister,
Mary (Fellows) Jordan, of Goffstown. He will
also be missed by his six grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren. Robert was predeceased
by his brothers, John O. Fellows and William
F. Fellows, and his nephew, John H. Fellows.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that
memorial contributions be made in Robert’s
name to Monadnock Conservancy, 15 Eagle
Court, Keene, NH 03431.
Dick Comstock Adams
WARNER - Dick Comstock Adams, a
long-time resident of Concord and Warner,
died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015.
Born on May 13, 1929, in
Seoul, Korea, Dick was the
son of the Rev. Edward
"Ned" Adams and Susan
Comstock Adams. His
one sibling, Jack Adams,
predeceased Dick and
was also an ordained
Presbyterian minister. Dick is survived by
his loving wife, Joy and numerous children
and their families, including Ned, Marcy and
Matthew Bailey-Adams of Natick, MA; Paul,
Gay, Ashley and Amelia Adams of Monticello,
IL; Jon, Teri, and Tim Adams of Littleton, MA;
Deborah Sue Adams Brennan of Concord;
Peter Adams of Minneapolis; Ned, Megan,
Stephanie and Jackson Adams of Carmen, IL;
Josh, Alicia, Ellyse and Caraline Wiechert of
Chicago; Cynthia Gannett and John Brereton
of Stratford, CT; Timothy and Valerie Gannett
of Sutton; and Diana Gannett, whose husband,
Danny, predeceased Dick. In lieu of flowers,

HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT

roads and streets, seeks a Highway Superintendent to
effectively direct and plan all activities of the Highway
Department. The ideal candidate will possess a 5 year
minimum of highway department supervision, strong
leadership skills, experience in; equipment maintenance,
short and long-range planning, purchasing, budget
preparation, road management and team building.
Duties include; representation at a variety of meetings,
maintaining the appearance of streets and roads, daily
participation in routine work, preparing annual budgets,
assigning and scheduling labor and equipment to projects,
project inspections, staff evaluations and training.

DEERING — John Wallace Hauptman
“Hoppy,” 81, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at
Harris Hill Center in Concord. He was surrounded by family and passed away after a
brief battle with cancer. Born in Framingham,
MA, Hoppy grew up in Sherborn, MA. Hoppy
was predeceased by his third wife of 26 years,
Cynthia A. (Blaisdell) Hauptman, in 2012; his
parents, Percy T. and Lillian B. Hauptman;
one brother, Percy T. Hauptman Jr.; and one
sister, Anna Lillian Paul; and son-in- law,
Michael D. Jackson. He is survived by his children: Eric W. Hauptman and his wife, Mary
of Canterbury; Dawn M. Carter of Canterbury;
Kimberly Jackson of Henniker; Kenneth M.
Hauptman and his wife, Johanna of Henniker;
and Bradley J. Hauptman and his wife, Amy of
Antrim. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Andrew Jackson and his fiancée, Lacey
McCabe; Evan Hauptman; Holly Weston; Emily Hauptman; Melina Jackson; Ethan Hauptman; Caleb Hauptman; great-granddaughter,
Brook Jackson; as well as several nieces and
nephews. Friends, family and neighbors
wishing to honor Hoppy’s excellent care are
encouraged to support the Concord Regional
VNA Hospice Program and the staff at Harris

along with many lifelong friends.
Evgeni Egon Ali-Oglu
ANTRIM - Evgeni, Egon Ali-Oglu, PhD,
86, of Antrim, NH passed away on Friday
November 6th, 2015. Born in Kramatorsk,
Ukraine, Egon immigrated to the U. S. in 1951
where he obtained his education and certification to become an architect. In those early
years Egon was an entrepreneur at heart. He
owned everything from solar companies to
mining companies to a Chinese restaurant. His constant passion however was solar energy. Even into his 80’s Egon traveled to Mongolia and China to find solar opportunities. Up
until his final days he continued to think
outside of the box and
search for creative ways to
incorporate solar energy in
his world. Egon truly was
ahead of his time. Egon
leaves behind his brother,
Robert of Framingham,
MA; his sister, Erika Ferri
of Rockport; and extended families. Donations
may be sent to the Cardiac Rehab Center at
Monadnock Hospital, 452 Old Street Road,
Peterborough, NH 03458.
