Welcome Back!
September 2016
Sunday, September 11th is the day we welcome everyone back from the summer hiatus for Rally Day
festivities and programming kick-off! We are looking forward to another great year of Family Faith
Formation, Family Tables, and numerous children’s activities throughout the school year. What follows
are the schedules for September and October for families of children 3 yrs.—3rd grade.
Sunday Morning Schedule
9:00-9:15 am Gather in the Fellowship Hall for breakfast snacks and check-in
9:15-9:30 am Music Time with Debby and Paul (9:00-9:30 am on Family Tables Sundays)
9:30 -10:00 am Weekly Bible study and Family Conversation
September 2016
Sept 5th – Monday *Labor Day*
Sept 10th – Saturday *God’s Work, Our Hands service projects*
Sept 11th – *Rally Sunday* Family Faith Formation
1st Communion Class @ 4:00 pm

Family Tables
After great feedback from our first year, the Family Tables small groups will be meeting again next
school year beginning September 18th and we want you to be a part of it! Groups will meet on the third Sunday of
every month during our Education Hour, September - April, to discuss spiritual goals, life transitions, and navigating
family roles and responsibilities. Children will have their own programming during that time. Please sign up with Emilie
if you plan to participate. You will not be place within the group unless you sign up.

3rd Grade Bibles
We will be celebrating the milestone of passing out bibles to our
3rd grade students in worship on Sunday, October 16th. As a
church family, we hope and pray that these bibles become a
most treasured possession, so that these students will continue
to grow in faith. 3rd grade families, please join us for this special
day and recommitment of the promises made in baptism.
VoP Halloween Party
Saturday, October 29th
6:00-7:30 pm
Celebrate VOP style! Show off your costume before the big day, break
open a piñata, sneak around the church during the scavenger hunt, be
creative with Halloween crafts, and have a few treats along the way.
