Marco Santini was born in 1984 in Italy. He received his first violin lessons at the age of five. In 2003 he graduated
from the Conservatorio G.B. Pergolesi of Fermo where he had studied with Steriu Bratchkov and Natalia Boyarsky.
In addition he has been studying with Dajan Bogdanovich in the course of a number of masterclasses. From 2004 to
2006 he completed his studies at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Mannheim in Germany
under the guidance of Prof. Dora Bratchkova. He graduated with the highest scores. Marco Santini has received
numerous awards and acknowledgements in national and international competitions, for example the 3rd prize
at the International Competition for Violinists “Andrea Postacchini“. He was also finalist at the National Competition
For Young Students of Fiesole, finalist at the Fourth International Competition “Andrea Postacchini“, 1st prize at the
National Competition of Camerino 1st Prize at the International Competition of Fusignano, and winner of the “gold
medal“ for the best student of the Conservatorio G.B. Pergolesi of Fermo. Marco Santini collaborates currently with
a number of Italian orchestras among these the “Filarmonica Marchigiana” and the “Orchestra Sinfonica Giovanile
di Roma”. In 2005 he founded the Mannheimer Ensemble, a chamber orchestra of music students and young
professionals, in which all share a common background of studies at the Hochschule für Musik Mannheim.
