Apollo CTS Single Rotating Knife Sheeter
The CTS Single Rotary Knife Sheeter offers speeds and accuracy normally
associated with Dual Rotary machines. Ruggedly constructed, this machine
provides sustainable quality production for converters and commercial
printers. A high accuracy (+/- 0.15mm 0.006”) cut to register option for
print, hologram and watermark allows single web sheeting of lightweight
materials up to 250m/min 800f/min.
Slitting
Tidland Class 2 or Dienes knife holders are used in conjunction with selflocking bottom knives. Trim nozzles pick up the trim close to the slit point.
Slitter knife lubrication/cleaning is optional.
Sheet Size
The sheet length and squaring is set automatically from the touch screen. A
digital positioning guide is an optional feature.
Cross Cut Knife
Heavy duty knife construction and bearing design enable effective use of
tungsten carbide knives for better cut quality and longer knife life. The knife
cover reduces air turbulence and sheet scratching.

Print & Hologram Cut to Register
A servo-motor directly coupled to the knife allows sheet-by-sheet register
correction. The operator friendly control system allows rapid set-up. Register
accuracy for printed or hologram designs is +/- 0/15mm (0.006”).
Rapid Installation
The CTS sheeter is delivered in one piece complete with integral drive cabinet.
Positive Sheet Tail Overlap
Consistent overlapping is essential for high speed operation. The Apollo
pulsed airjet system has been proven to provide better results than constant
vacuum systems.
Zero Speed Pallet Change System
Provides completely reliable pallet changes in less than 1 minute
Sheet Counting
Tab inserters or ink markers are used to batch count reams. The machine has
a totalizing counter with auto-stop facility.
