Peninsula. Make your reservations by calling the PJCC
at 650.212.7522 by Thursday of each week. There is no
charge.

Errand/Appointment Transportation for
Non-Driving Older Adults
Get Up & Go provides programs at the PJCC and
transportation to them for older adults who no
longer drive, as well as transportation for errands and
appointments three days each week. People who drive
are welcome to attend Get Up & Go programs at the
PJCC on a space available basis.
Cost: $5 round trip

lovely lunch at the Presidio Café, followed by a
step-on-board guided bus tour with Marilyn Straka
of On the Level Tours. This tour incorporates
history, mystery, culture, and fun, and includes
scenic vists, floral displays, and the most beautiful
tiled stairway in San Francisco. There will be
optional short walking stops.
Transportation is provided by the Peninsula Jewish
Community Center. Departure from Temple Beth
El is at 10:30 am. Return to Temple Beth El is at

Bernard Zakheim, a protégé of Diego Rivera, was a
leading mid-twentieth century California artist. His
murals have graced the SFJCC, Coit Tower and Toland
Hall on the campus of the UCSF medical center. Born in
Poland, he immigrated to the Bay Area in 1921.
On May 1, after a two-year $58 million renovation, the
Oakland Museum unveiled their remodeled Art and
History galleries. Join us for a docent-led tour and a
chance to see 2100 new pieces, expanded gallery space,
and new interactive exhibits. No-host lunch is in the
new Blue Oak Café.
