he question of the
(happy) hour, all summer long,
has been “who’s Jimmy?” Yeah,
that Jimmy—the Jimmy who’s
been promising Indiana bar-goers
something new, something
better, something different.
The Jameski who’s been
promising, via muscular
social media boasts, to shake Uptown.
The Jiminy who’s got the other barkeeps a
wonderin’ aloud, “not another!?!”
INVESTIGATIVE REPORT
Duty called upon Sam the Beer Man to
find out. And while “Jimmy” was as silent
as a courthouse statue, an anonymous
source offered Sam a sneak peek. The long
and the short of it is this, Sam woke up
in Memorial Park; his Yuengling lapel pin
secret digital recorder missing, and his
notes impaled on the Doughboy’s bayonet.
And this is what we could cobble together.
“A fine beer may be judged with only one sip,
but it’s better to be thoroughly sure.”

As food and music make the weekend
go ‘round, look for live music and a
kitchen that keeps up with bar hours. The
geographically-inclined may also note
Twisted Jimmy’s proximity to Steel City
Samiches—but they declined to comment.
It is rumored to contain an oval bar with
ten taps to start—with an ultimate goal of
20. Expect there to be games to play and to
watch (on at least ten TVs). Big rest rooms.
Sam’s source also insinuated the
establishment would appeal to both a
collegiate and professional crowd, and that
an after work social scene may ensue.
Expect the opening sometime in the
second half of September; then we’ll all
have a look-see for ourselves… Here’s what

Twisted Jimmy’s master plan is not to
be your “big’s” bar. We’re told to expect
(perhaps) a contemporary, industrial
