Several groups have again expressed interest in helping but we still have a need for many more. Plans this year and to increase the size of the garden and add different vegetables, so if you would like something please let us know. We have enjoyed serving the congregation and look forward to having more join us in the future! Some questions have come up during the breakfasts: What is YCCG?: We are the Young Christians Couples Group. A nondenominational group that Memorial United Methodist Church sponsors. We average 4-6 couples each month at our gatherings and kids ranging from 7 years down to 1. The gatherings range from couples night out at different restaurants, family nights in at each other’s homes and our first time meeting was held at the church. It has been great to get our families together and know we are surrounded by other Christians that our children will grow up with. If you are interested in becoming a part of the group contact the church office or find us on Facebook! What are the breakfasts for?: FELLOWSHIP!!! Our purpose from the beginning is to offer a time for the different services to fellowship together. Come early or stay late! Just come and surround yourself around others and enjoy some food! Our next breakfast will be Sunday, July 12, and we plan to serve breakfast burritos! So mark your calendars now because you won’t want to miss out! We hope to see everyone there! The last day of school brings a change to the daily routines of the school year, and we settle in to a new routine for summer. Graduation brings change to the families with graduates—looking forward with new possibilities—looking backward wondering where the time went. We celebrate Mother’s Day and Memorial Day. For some, there are birthdays and anniversaries to celebrate as well. We have much to celebrate as children of God.
