Oproštajna zabava je crna komedija o prijateljstvu i shvaćanju kada treba reći
zbogom. Skupina prijatelja u jeruzalemskom staračkom domu napravi stroj za
samo-eutanaziju da bi pomogli svom na smrt bolesnom prijatelju. Kad se počnu
širiti govorkanja o stroju, sve više i više ljudi traži pomoć i prijatelji bivaju suočeni s
emotivnom dilemom.
Za vrijeme Drugog libanonskog rata Motti i Keren, mladi religiozni par sa sjevera
Izraela, traži mjesto kamo bi se sklonio da bi izbjegao napetu situaciju u svome
gradu. Nađu se u građanskom stanu Yali i Boaza u Tel Avivu. Zbog razlika između
parova pojavljuju se sukobi. Stan postaje pretijesan a Kerenina očita trudnoća
