PILATES MAT – Increase your energy level, muscle tone and flexibility while improving posture. Learn to connect the mind and the body in this class. The basic Pilates
exercises emphasize specific breathing techniques and precise muscle control to
develop your body’s core.
PILATES WITH PROPS – A unique, functional approach to Pilates Mat that challenges
your body to the core! Incorporates the usual focus on core strength including unique
equipment designed to enhance your Pilates experience: Magic Circles, Mini Body
Bars, Gliding Discs, Tubing, and more.

MOVE IT™ – A revolutionary approach to whole body fitness integrating
the best of exercise science, modern interval training and somatic movemnt through

SOLE CONTROL – A barefoot, low impact workout blending athletic

The Pilates Studio
Join your highly certified instructors in Lakeshore’s state of the art
Pilates Studio to increase functionality, stability and strength from
the inside out. Lakeshore offers many options including private,
semi-private and group settings. Sessions are designed to meet the
needs of the individual or small group and are perfect for all levels.

ASHTANGA VINYASA – A dynamic practice in which postures are
linked together through flowing movement and the joining of that movement with
the gaze and breath.
GENTLE YOGA – Modifications are used to accommodate the beginner exerciser
or anyone with limiting injuries or special concerns.
MEDITATION – The benefits of mindful meditation are many. Calm your mind and
direct your awareness internally in this 30 minute guided meditation practice.
POWER YOGA – A challenging and invigorating flow class designed to brighten the
mind, body, spirit. This intermediate class will target the core, the upper & lower
body, strengthen & tone through dynamic sequences through fun eccentric music.

OTHER
BODYSHRED™ – by Jillian Michaels. A high intensity, resistance and endurance
based fitness plan maximizing the afterburn using 30 second intervals in a new
and exciting way. Class is 45 minutes. This class is offered in the main GX
studio also.
CORE STRENGTH & BALANCE – This 45 minute class targets the
muscles that increase core stability and strength. Balance exercises are weaved
throughout. This class is for everyone who wants a strong core and to avoid injury.

VINYASA FLOW – A dynamic use of asanas/postures that create fluidity. Class is
designed to increase range of motion, strength and flexibility. Class is set at a
moderate tempo to exhilarate the body and mind.
YOGA FIRE – A total body workout using light weights and energizing music to
boost your metabolism, while increasing your strength and flexibility. Class is
advanced – come to work hard.
YOGA STRENGTH – An opportunity to explore yoga postures more in depth with
emphasis on proper alignment. Create strength along with stability throughout the
entire body with a wide variety of poses.
