eing pampered by professionally trained staff in their spa is a luxury worth every penny. “I have
enjoyed a variety of facials and it is difficult to say if one is better than another — they’re all
incredible,” says Frischbutter. “Massages have also been an experience worth repeating often.

Sisters Kristin Bozyk (nee Janzen) and Monica Janzen opened SpaLifestyle & Fashion Boutique in
December 2007 after their parents encouraged them to go into business for themselves. “We were
inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of our grandparents, John and Mary Fehr and our parents, Dale and
Sandra Janzen,” says Bozyk. “They founded and operated Fehr-Way Tours and Beaver Bus Lines.”
When they discovered the
building at 2001 Henderson Hwy
was being built, their mother
gave them the idea to start a
spa combined with a boutique.
Bozyk, who was a registered
massage therapist, took on the
spa side while her sister headed
up the fashion boutique. The
unusual combination has been a
winning success.
The spa meets the highest
standards in the country as
a member of Leading Spas in
Canada and is quality assured.
“Our licensed and certified
estheticians use exceptional
G.M. Collin products for facial
treatments,” says Bozyk. “This
medical grade product line
can be used to treat many skin
conditions.” They also use
France’s world-renowned brand,
Yon-ka, to offer customized
treatments using essential oils
and plant extracts.
One of their most popular facials
is G.M. Collin’s new SEA C Spa.
This brightening facial is perfect
for people preparing for special
events, such as weddings. It
evens out skin tone, reduces
the appearance of wrinkles and
illuminates skin — giving it the
ultimate healthy glow.
Besides their remarkable facials,
the spa menu also includes
manicures, pedicures, scrubs,
microdermabrasion and relaxing
massages. All services are
performed in one of their six
private rooms. The spa also has
two couples’ rooms, for those
who wish to share quality time
with a friend or loved one.
“Our spa clients are women
and men who take care of
themselves and want to feel
good,” says Bozyk. “They come
here for a quality experience;
we want them to leave feeling
confident.”
The spa has had clients as young as
age six (children getting manicures
with their moms) and as elderly
as 96. “We try to take care of our
clients as if they were family,”
says Bozyk. “A spa treatment is
something any generation can
enjoy.”

“We have a beautiful facility

ourselves and our professional
team in the spa and boutique, who

says Bozyk. “We’re doing our best.”

is our No. 1 line,” says Janzen, “it’s
made to fit a real woman’s body.”
This fall, SpaLifestyle & Fashion

and white,” says Janzen. “We’ll do
another show to help our clients see
what the latest trends are in store. A
lot of ladies really enjoy this concept.”

place out,” says Bozyk. “We’ve had
customers come from P.E.I., all over
Ontario, B.C., and other places.”
