The social work
Fundación Rostros Nuevos, an organization that belongs to Hogar de Cristo network, serving adults with
mental and psychic disabilities and in social exclusion situation.
The San Pedro Claver ambulatory program located in the municipality of Estación Central, serves 60 people
with psychological disability through various workshops. Like most ancient buildings of adobe – adobillo,
its structure has important damages so it needs to be rebuilt.
Target Population
•
Adults with psychic and / or mental disabilities in poverty and social exclusion situation who
developed a weakness or lack of access to family networks or social institutions and in order to
develop their daily lives, require dedicated support.

Institutional Policy
•
In Fundación Rostros Nuevos we welcome adults with mental disabilities in poverty and social
exclusion situation.

We strengthen their abilities to their full development by promoting their rehabilitation process,
family ties and social reintegration.
•
We build spaces with a community focus that allows them to bond, participate and integrate
social and / or labor.
•
We raise awareness, commitment and community responsibility regarding this social reality and
to that end we work in conjuction with other stakeholders and government sectors.
Facilities Detail
It is planned to build a center of 200 m2, in structural materials type Covintec and / or Metalcon, stucco
finishes, drywall and cardboard microvibrations tiles, ceramics and painting.
