Lord, on the day I called for help,
you answered me.
As we continue to pray for peace in our
troubled world, hear the story of Abraham
talking with God. God agrees to relent from
destroying the city of Sodom if he can find ten
faithful souls. Let us fervently pray that God can
find sufficient numbers today to help us fight the
terrible moral and hateful evils surrounding us.
St. Paul reminds us that Christ has already
forgiven us our transgressions and "obliterated
the bond against us" through the cross. When
we pray for our world, let us pray through Jesus
Christ, as all our prayer is ultimately offered. In
the Gospel we hear Jesus own words "Ask and
you will receive".
When Jesus' disciples asked him to teach
them how to pray, he taught them the prayer we
call the "Our father". Our Closing song today
echoes these words of Jesus, (# 446 verse 3).
Keep it in your heart all week.
This is my prayer, O Lord of all earth's kingdoms.
Thy kingdom come; on earth thy will be done.
Let Christ be lifted up till all shall serve him.
And hearts united learn to live as one.
O hear my prayer, thou God al all the nations;
Myself I give thee, let thy will be done.

Please consider offering your time and talents to prepare our
children for the reception of the sacraments, and to instill in
them knowledge of our Catholic faith. A catechist is not necessarily a person who has studied Theology and Scripture
or an experienced teacher. We will provide detailed, stepby-step lesson plans and all of materials you need. If you
become a catechist, you have answered God’s call, the call
of your Baptism. You will be making a decision that will enrich your life and the life of the children you teach. If you are

In conjunction with some great volunteers from
other parishes in our area, we are launching an
appeal to collect some much needed items for
distribution to the homeless men and women in
our midst.
Can you make a donation? (Please new or like
new items)
-Blankets, sleeping bags, backpack
-Jeans: Men’s sizes 32-42.
Women’s sizes 10-16
-Socks: Tube socks, white or dark
-Underwear: Jockey style, sizes 32-42,
women’s S,M,L
-Sweatshirts and long-sleeved shirts:
S,M,L to XXL
-T-Shirts: S. M, to XXL
-Shoes and sneakers: sizes 6 and up. Lightly
worn sneakers or Athletic shoes, soft-soled
shoes, and work boot preferred.
Travel-size toiletries: soaps, toothpaste,
shampoo, shaving cream, deodorant,
toohtbrushes, wash cloths, lip balm, gallon
size zip-lock bags.
Bring donations to the Outreach on Tuesdays or
Thursdady, 10AM-5PM, or place in the wooden
bins in the Church and Auditorium. Please mark

necesitados por hombres y mujeres desamparados viviendo en nuestra área.
Los artículos pueden ser nuevos o si han sido
usados tienen que estar limpios y en buenas

CORO PARA LA MISA DE LA FIESTA PARROQUIAL
La última práctica del Coro para la Fiesta Parroquial será el
Martes 26 de Julio, de 7:30PM hasta las 9:00PM, en el
salón de clases #2 de la Escuela de Educación Religiosa.
Todos están invitados a participar.

por correo. El talonario cuesta $10 y le dá la
