Supplies needed:













White felt fabric for snowman bodies (4 layers for each snowman)
Various colored felt fabric for hats, scarves and gloves, as desired.
Orange felt fabric for carrot nose
Black felt fabric for top hat, buttons, eyes and mouth
Small black pompoms for buttons (optional)
Large pompom for pompom hat
Glue (Hot Glue Gun Recommended)
White embroidery floss and needle
Scissors
Pins
Glitter glue pens in colors to match scarf and gloves (optional)
Pattern pieces
Black fabric paint for mouth (top hat snowman)
Instructions:

Cut pattern pieces from pattern pages. Snowmen body patterns print on 4 pages and will need to be cut
and taped together.
Cut 4 snowman body shapes from white felt fabric for each snowman leaving no seam.
For flap hat snowman only, cut one arm piece from white felt fabric and place it on the right side of his
body, aligning it with the other layers.
Whip stitch the four layers of white felt together around the entire outer edge (include the arm for flap hat
snowman) using white embroidery floss and needle. (see illustration of whip stitching technique below).
Cut out 2 gloves, 1 scarf and 1 hat for each snowman from one layer of colored felt fabric. For snowman
with flap hat, cut two pieces of hat rim. Leave no seams.
Cut three button shapes for each snowman from black felt fabric or use small black pompoms for buttons,
if desired.
Cut two eyes for each snowman from black felt fabric.
Cut one mouth from black felt fabric for flap hat and pompom hat snowman. For top hat snowman, use
black fabric paint to paint a thin smile on his face.
Cut one nose for each snowman from orange felt fabric.
Hot glue gloves, scarf, eyes, buttons, nose, hat and mouth to the snowman. For snowman with flap hat,
glue the two layers of rim together first, then glue the double layered rim to the hat.
For snowman with pompom hat only, glue giant pompom to the top of his hat.
If desired, decorate the scarf and gloves with glitter glue.
