A mobile multimedia network!
Multimedia ist mittlerweile jederzeit verfügbar – auch
unterwegs. So wandelt sich Car-Entertainment, das
weiterhin Kernthema der Messe ist, immer mehr hin zu
Car-Infotainment mit Vernetzung vieler multimedialer
Anwendungen im Fahrzeug.
Multimedia has become available at any time – even on the
go. Car-entertainment, a main topic of the trade fair, is
increasingly becoming car-infotainment that networks many
multimedia applications in the car.
Die moderne Medienwelt ändert sich derzeit so schnell, dass
im Fahrzeug oft mehr als nur Freisprechen oder Navigation
nachgerüstet werden. MP3 Musikdatenbanken und DVDFilmwiedergabe für den Beifahrer sind nur einige Beispiele
der wachsenden Möglichkeiten.
Die Herausforderung dabei ist, Entertainment- und
Informationsangebote im Fahrzeug so zu vernetzen, dass
die Mitfahrer abwechslungsreiche Unterhaltung genießen
können und der Fahrer gezielt informiert wird, ohne ihn vom
Verkehrsgeschehen abzulenken.
Da das im Fahrzeug vorhandene Autoradio hierbei als
Kommunikationszentrale oft überfordert ist, bietet der
Nachrüstmarkt eine Vielzahl multimediafähiger Headunits
an, die mit immer besser klingenden Car-HiFi-Komponenten
das Klangniveau guter Heimanlagen erreichen.
Wenn ein Austausch des Radios nicht möglich, wenig
sinnvoll oder einfach nicht gewünscht ist, braucht es immer
inteligentere Lösungen, neue Multimediaanwendungen in die
vorhandene Car-Infotainment-Struktur zu integrieren.

The modern media world is changing so quickly nowadays
that often more than just a hands-free set or a navigation
system is retrofitted into a car. MP3 music databases and
DVD movie playback for the passengers are just a couple of
examples of the growing possibilities.
The challenge of this is to network the entertainment and
information possibilities in the car so that the passengers
can enjoy a variety of entertainment options while the
driver can access targeted information without being
distracted from the traffic situation.
Since the existing car radio is often overwhelmed in its role
as the communication centre, the retrofitting market offers
a multitude of multimedia-compatible head units that
achieve the sound niveau of good home systems with car hifi components that sound better all the time.
If it is not possible to replace the radio, if it doesn’t make
sense, or if you just don’t want to do it, then increasingly
intelligent solutions are necessary to integrate multimedia
applications into the existing car infotainment structure.

improvement. In the subwoofer range the RADION line
was completely made over. For the same price it is
possible to receive a coated die cast basket, 2.5 inch

handling, stronger wire terminals and a sophisticated

Bluetooth technology. The hands-free car kit Ego Cup FM
– newest member of the Ego family – takes plug & play
onto a new level. Simply slot into the cup holder and dial
away. Once linked, the Ego Cup FM automatically
connects to a mobile phone via Bluetooth. A built-in FM
transmitter, which can also transmit MP3s from mobile to
radio, means calls can either be taken over the
integrated speaker or the car speakers, as with
professional devices.

channel car alarm system called Xcess Range Max Screen
with new remote start technology for their anniversary.
The new 2-way LCD screen transmitter works at the new
868 MHz FM frequency band and will range up to a
distance of 1.5 km. Also a new item, called "chirp
module", is designed for cars without beep tone
confirmation while locking and unlocking the central
doorlocking by remote. The chirp module will be offered
with a single tone power siren with the typical US tone or
with a six tone siren with soft-chirp electronics for a
quieter sound. The new interieur light with 12 high-power
SMD LEDs will bring more brightness inside the vehicle.
