The Equestrian Team will be meeting on Monday, January 26th at 6:00 in the Middle School
Library. All last fall members and any new members need to be present. We will be discussing
IMPORTANT Information that you need to be aware of.
The deadline to sign up for the CSAA Talent Revue is today. Even if you have already signed up,
please sign up again so we don't miss anyone. Sign-up sheet is in the HS office.
NHS applications must be returned by the end of the school day on Thursday, January 29. Next
week is snowball week, you'll be busy so don't wait until the last minute!
The Chippewa Hills Lady Warriors improved to 7-3 on the season with a win over Reed City by a
score of 30-25. Leading the way for the Lady Warriors was Kynnedi Williams with 13 points. The
Lady Warriors are next in action on Tuesday against Houghton Lake at home.
Snowball week starts Monday. Themes for dress-up days are as follows: Monday – College Gear,
Tuesday – Cowboy vs. Rocker vs. Rapper, Wednesday – PJ day, Thursday – Throwback Thursday
and Friday – school colors. The dance is Saturday, January 31st from 6 – 10 pm in the CHIS
cafeteria. Tickets are $30 for couples, $20 for a single and will be sold next week during lunches.
Guest pass applications for the Snowball dance are now available in the office and need to be
returned by Wednesday, January 28th.
Scholarship news: The 2014-2015 MEA Scholarship is now available in the Counseling Office.
One $500 scholarship will be awarded to an applicant at our school. The deadline for this
scholarship is MARCH 20, 2015. Stop in the office and get an application.
The Blanchard Telephone Scholarship is also available in the Counseling Office. Please stop in
and get an application...the deadline is March 13, 2015!!
M.A.R.S.P (Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel) scholarship is now available in
the Counseling Office. Please stop by and pick up an application as the deadline is April 17, 2015
Michigan Education Association 13-A Scholarship applications can be picked up in the
Counseling Office as well. The deadline for the MEA 13-A scholarship is March 20, 2015.
The Michigan Education Scholarship applications are now printed and ready for you to pick up.
The deadline for this wonderful scholarship is March 31, 2015.
Char Doerr Memorial Scholarship, this scholarship had a deadline of March 28, 2015.
Shamrock Invitational Scholarship; this scholarship has a deadline of March 28, 2015.
