I really enjoyed the festival last year after my return. There were many new activities, like the Kentucky Derby party, expanded rides and so much more. One of the festival’s largest attractions is the auction. I am amazed to see it grow and get better every year. This year’s auction is better than ever. There many fantastic items up for bid. The auction committee and their volunteers have been working for months to obtain items that will be of great interest to all. Our silent auction is on Friday night, May 4, in the gym. You can find many new and exciting items for bid. Saturday night, May 5, will be our live auction with unbelievable trips, a playhouse, a wonderful dinner at the rectory, and much more. Join us for both auctions. I want to thank all our auction supporters, those who made items, those who donated items, those who sponsor the event, and all who will bid on our many items. The proceeds of the auction will go towards our debt reduction. Each year the festival grows larger and is better than the previous year’s festival. Let’s make the 2012 St. Thomas More Parish Festival the best yet! In Christ, Rev. Tom P. Duhé Pastor IN A CARING ENVIRONMENT DEDICATED TO CELEBRATING THE CATHOLIC FAITH AND MODELING THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST, SAINT THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH PROVIDES WORSHIP, EDUCATIONAL, MINISTERIAL, AND SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF ITS PARISH FAMILY.
