A new rezoning application has been submitted to the City of Vancouver to allow for the construction of a
26-storey mixed-used building at the northeast corner of West Georgia and Cardero Streets in Coal
Harbour.
The Bosa Properties project was designed by Henriquez Partners Architects and features triangular
canopies over the residential unit balconies to provide the building, located at a highly prominent
intersection, with an architecturally unique and scaly look.
Retail use is slated to occupy the ground floor while the first three floors above will be purposed for 45,346
square feet of office space. The remaining above ground floors are all residential, comprising of 184
market residential units, in addition to seven levels of underground parking for a total of 201 stalls.
The building has a height of 265 feet and will reach a floor space ratio of 10.83. Proponents are aiming to
integrate a high level of sustainable and energy efficient designs to achieve a LEED Gold environmental
certification.
1575 West Georgia Street and 620 Cardero Street are the proposal’s current addresses, which is
immediately adjacent to Facebook’s Vancouver office.
