“Congratulations Class of 2013”
News from the Library:
The Scottdale Public Library will be participating in the One Book One Community sponsored by
Westmoreland Library Network.
This year’s book is The Civil War in Pennsylvania, A Photographic History authored by Michael
Kraus, David Neville, and Kenneth Turner.
Scottdale’s discussion will be held on July 2nd at 6:00 at the library. All who participate are invited to a
special event at the John Heinz History Center on September 28th. The event will include chatting with
the authors, a special exhibit commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War in Pennsylvania
access to the center and lunch. You must pre-register for this event. Books will be available two weeks
prior to the scheduled discussion. Call 724-887-6140 to register.
