15" Capacity Hand-Fed Chipper
The compact Model 1390XP is an efficient, 15-inch
capacity hydraulic feed, drum-style hand fed chipper
with an oversized 37” diameter drum. Featuring a
17-¾” by 19-½” throat opening and 20” wide feed
wheels, the Model 1390XP can easily accept large, limby
material. With its solid steel welded construction, proven
feed system, durable components, and chip throwing
technologies, this chipper provides all of the advantages
of a hydraulic-feed drum-style chipper yet chips like
a disc. A variety of gas and diesel engine options
are available, ranging from 89 to 147 horsepower.

Powerful Dual Feed Wheels
The wide feed system on the Model 1390XP makes it easy to
feed big logs with multiple stems and limby materials. The chipper
throat opening is 17-¾” by 19-½” high with 15” diameter chipping
capacity. A wide opening allows multiple pieces to be fed and
provides a larger opening for limby or crotchy material, increasing
production and reducing the amount of trimming required to process
material. Operators are more productive and less fatigued.
Powerful Slide Box Feed System
The Model 1390XP is equipped with two horizontal 20” wide by 10
5/8” diameter feed wheel mounted in Bandit’s patented Slide Box
Feed System. This system makes it easy to chip large diameter
branches, multiple stems and small trees. The dual feed wheels
are powered by 32.7 CID motors generating not just adequate, but
excessive force to aggressively pull in and compress limby material.
Rugged Components
Heavy-duty rugged components ensure long life and
trouble-free operation, even when chipping tough
materials. The chipper drum, housing and shaft are so
rugged that very rarely do they need to be replaced.

You can customize your Model 1390XP Bandit chipper to meet
your needs. We provide the best features and options, allowing
you to set up your chipper to meet your requirements with the
power options you prefer. There are also many options that make
it easy to feed larger, heavier materials into the chipper.
Oversized Drum
The Model 1390XP features a 37” diameter drum. The
drum diameter in competitive units is approximately 22”.
The oversized drum in the 1390XP allows it to chip most of
the material on the bottom half of the drum on an arc with
the grain of the wood. The 1390XP chips with much less
vibration, uses less energy and consumes less fuel.
