COUNTERTOP MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS
Midwest Automation has been designing and manufacturing machines for the postformed
laminate kitchen countertop industry since the early 1970. Midwest offers the widest variety
of core fabrication, laminating, postforming, coving and cutting machines in the world today,
with thousands in operation all over the world. Whether you need to produce a few countertops
each day or thousands, Midwest Automation engineers will design a custom system
for your unique application.
COUNTERTOP SAMPLES
Corfab™ CF 1545 shown with optional PF 1512 Panel Feeder.
CORFAB MACHINES
Models CF 1540/1545/1555
Midwest Automation Corfab machines are used in the preparation
of the countertop core, starting with a blank particle board panel,
and ending in a machined countertop core ready for laminating.
The system includes a Nordson™ Hot Melt Applicator sized to production
requirements. Corfab™ models can be configured with pneumatic
and electronic positioning units to minimize set up.
TYPICAL COUNTERTOP PROFILES
Where simplicity in design is
required without a square edge look.
Self edge profile with ‘coved’
backsplash.
A profile that blends functional
features with European elegance.

YOUR REQUIREMENTS
DRIVE OUR BUSINESS.
Midwest Automation is a family owned U.S. manufacturing company located
in Minneapolis Minnesota.
For companies who care where the products they buy are made, it will come
as no surprise that buying American is not as easy as it used to be. If you
look closely you will discover that many of the machines represented to be
“American made” are in fact imported from foreign countries.
For over 60 years, Midwest Automation has manufactured industrial machinery
for the woodworking, composite panel and metalworking industries using
U.S. labor, and locally available components whenever possible.
Our extensive application knowledge, coupled with creative machine
designs, allows us to provide unique and reliable solutions that improve your
manufacturing processes, supported by local parts and service.
