INFANT BAPTISMS
For children under 8 years of age, the sacrament is celebrated the
FIRST Sunday of the month at 2:00 pm. The parents must register in
the parish office at least 4 weeks prior to the baptism. Both parents
and godparents are expected to attend one catechetical session in
advance, on the Wednesday before the baptism, at 7:00 pm.
SACRAMENTS OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION
Before being fully initiated into the sacramental life of the Church,
children over the age of 8 will need catechetical preparation through
the RCIC process. Teenagers and adults will participate in separate
RCIA processes.
CONFIRMATION and COMMUNION
For those already baptized, preparation for these Sacraments will take
place according to the person’s age and knowledge of the Catholic
Faith. For further information contact the Office of Faith Formation
Program.
MARRIAGES
Couples should contact the parish office at least six months in
advance to make the proper arrangements for the Sacrament of
Matrimony.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK
Please contact the parish office.
RECONCILIATION
A priest is available for Confessions on Saturday afternoon from
3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. You can also make an individual appointment.

EL BAUTISMO DE NIÑOS
Solamente para los niños menores de los 8 años de edad, se celebra
el sacramento el SEGUNDO y el CUARTO domingo del mes a las
2:00 pm. Es preciso que los padres se inscriban en la parroquia por
lo menos 4 semanas antes del bautismo. Ambos padres y padrinos
deberán asistir a una instrucción catequética, la noche del Miercoles
anterior al bautizo a las 7:00 pm.
SACRAMENTOS DE LA INICIACION CRISTIANA
Con el propósito de participar plenamente en la vida sacramental de
la Iglesia, los niños mayores de los 8 años de edad, necesitarán
prepararse en el proceso de Iniciación Cristiana Para Niños. Los
jóvenes y los adultos se preparán separadamente en el proceso del
RICA.
CONFIRMACION Y COMUNION
La preparación para estos Sacramentos se cumple según la edad de
la persona y su conocimiento de la Fe Católica. Para más información comunicarse con la Oficina de Formación de la Fe.
MATRIMONIOS
La pareja deberá hacer su solicitud en el despacho pastoral por los
menos seis meses antes de la fecha de la boda, para entrevistarse
con el sacerdote e iniciar la preparación matrimonial.

Comunicarse con el despacho pastoral.
RECONCILIACION
El Sacramento se celebra semanalmente los sábados de 3:30 pm a
4:30 pm. También se puede fijar una cita para la Confesión otro día
de la semana con un sacerdote.

ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL 2015
The theme of this year’s appeal is SHARE THE JOY OF THE GOSPEL. Our parish goal will be the same as
last year, $53,901. Please read the Appeal material you receive in the mail and prayerfully consider making a
pledge in order to support both our Diocese and our parish! Appeal material is available in Church. Please remember
that all monies received OVER GOAL are returned to the parish to assist with our many expenses. As of November
30th we had 221 pledges for a total of $66,121 or 122.6% of our goal $61,298 has been paid so far. Thank You!
El tema de la apelación de este año es Compartir la Alegría del Evangelio. Nuestra meta de la
parroquia será el mismo que el año pasado, $53,901. Por favor, lea el material de apelación que recibió

VIRGEN DE GUADALUPE
Nuestra parroquia tiene el honor de invitarlos a la fiesta en honor a la Virgen de Guadalupe, que se realizará los
dias viernes 11 y sabado 12 de diciembre. El viernes a partir de las 7:00 PM, habra una Vigilia y a la medianoche
celebraremos la Santa Misa. Acompañados con los Mariachis le cantaremos a la Virgen las “Mañanitas”.
El sabado a las 6:00 PM habrá una Procesión con la Virgen seguida de la Santa Misa a las 7:00 PM.
Despues de la ceremonia están todos invitados a una recepción en el Salon Padre Donnelly de la escuela.
FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
Dear Parishioners,
“His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him.” (Luke 1:50) These are the words from the
Magnificat of our Blessed Mother as she offered her prayer of praise to God who had chosen her to be
the mother of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is the gift of God’s mercy that the church will be giving
more attention to and trying to live more deeply for the next twelve months.
The Pope will be opening the Holy Door in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome this Tuesday, December 8th,
which is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. This will mark the beginning of the Holy Year of
Mercy that will last from December 8th until November 20, 2016, the Solemnity of Christ the King.
Mercy is loving kindness, compassion, or forbearance shown to one who offends or to one subject
to one’s power. The Holy Father strongly desires this Jubilee celebration of mercy to be lived out in the
daily lives of the faithful, and all who turn to God for compassionate love and mercy. December 8th is
also the fiftieth anniversary of the closing of the Second Vatican Council. It was in this time that the
Council Fathers looked to proclaim the Gospel in a new way to the world.
Let us then spiritually step across the threshold of the Holy Door with the Pope this Tuesday and try
to practice the corporal and spiritual works of mercy more this year. Our Lady referred to the generations
that would experience his mercy. Let us follow the Blessed Mother by saying yes to God’s mercy offered
to us and by giving it to others.

Queridos Feligreses:
"Su misericordia es de generación en generación a los que le temen." (Lucas 1:50) Estas son las
palabras de La Magnífica de nuestra Santísima Madre cuando ella ofreció su oración de alabanza a Dios
que la había elegido para ser la madre de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo. Es el don de la misericordia de Dios al que la Iglesia le va a prestar más atención y tratara de vivir más profundamente en los
próximos doce meses.
El papa abrirá la Santa Puerta en la Basílica de San Pedro en Roma este martes, 8 de diciembre,
Día de la Solemnidad de la Inmaculada Concepción. Esto marcará el comienzo del Año Santo de la
Misericordia que durará desde el 8 de diciembre hasta el 20 de noviembre 2016, Solemnidad de Cristo
Rey.
Misericordia es amar con bondad, compasión, o paciencia demostrada a quien ofende o para
quien está sujeto a la autoridad de uno. El Santo Padre desea fuertemente que esta celebración jubilar
de misericordia sea vivida en la vida cotidiana de los fieles, y todos lo que se vuelven a Dios buscando
el amor compasivo y la misericordia. El 8 de diciembre es también el quincuagésimo aniversario de la
clausura del Segundo Concilio del Vaticano. Fue en este tiempo que los padres conciliares decidieron
anunciar el Evangelio de una manera nueva para el mundo.
Demos todos un paso para cruzar espiritualmente el umbral de la Puerta Santa con el Papa este
martes y tratemos de practicar más las obras corporales y espirituales de misericordia este año. Nuestra
Señora se refirió a las generaciones que experimentarian su misericordia. Sigamos la Santísima
Madre diciendo sí a la misericordia de Dios que se nos ofrece y dándola a los demás.
