SOMETHING SPECIAL with its Basie style is considered to
be one of the finest swing/jazz bands. The band has been
featured at many of the major music and jazz festivals
throughout the New York metropolitan area and has
accompanied Count Basie band leader, Frank Foster, jazz
trumpeter, Clark Terry, and internationally famous bassist
Percy Heath during his concert/show services. Something
Special Big Band also has six recordings to date.

Orchestra, a musical trio consisting of drums, keyboard,
saxophone, clarinet, and flute. The theme of the program
focuses on the Paramount Theatre, one of the first and
great show palaces in the world. Delight in the sounds of
such classics as, Can’t Help Falling in Love, It Had to Be
You, Moonlight Serenade, and so many more. For more

The highly talented band
consists of five saxophones, four trombones,
four trumpets, and a full
rhythm section. All the
members of the band are
professional musicians and most of them have performed
with great swing bands such as Buddy Rich, Lionel
Hampton, and Count Basie. The band plays a variety of big
band music from nostalgia to contemporary swing, but is
best known for its exciting Basie style.

amazing results to family and friends at the show on Friday,

one-on-one with our tutors in Math A & B, Global
Studies, U.S. History & Government, Living
Environment and Earth Science. Register online, by

2. Log on to http://www.regentsreviewlive.net/, the premier regents test preparation television program in
New York. Regents Review Live! presents live interactive programs produced at the New York Network
to assist high school students in preparing for their
Regents Exams.
Each program features real classroom teachers who
are expert in their particular Regents Exam subject.
During the course of a show, the teachers review the
curriculum, provide test-taking strategies and answer
phone-in or email questions from students.
The shows are broadcast live throughout the state by
