Immaculate Heart of Mary September 24
Immaculate Heart of Mary Church
Parish Mission/Misión Parroquial
With Mary, we seek to know Christ better
and to make him better known through our words and actions.
TWENTY
TWENTY--NINTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME, OCTOBER 16, 2016
Saint Teresa of Avila, October 15
Christ has no body now but mine.
He prays in me, works in me, looks through my eyes,
speaks through my words, works through my hands,
walks with my feet and loves with my heart.

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven
and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one
Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the
Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true
God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the
Father; through him all things were made; For us men and for
our salvation he came down from heaven,
(all bow) and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin
Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered
death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in

accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and
is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in
glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will
have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of
life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the
Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken
through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and
apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of
sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the
life of the world to come. Amen.

Entrada: Tu Palabra Me Da Vida
Credo Niceno

María, la Virgen, y se hizo hombre;

1. Por tu inmensa gloria te alabamos, te bendecimos, te
adoramos, te glorificamos, te damos gracias, Señor Dios,
Rey celestial. Dios Padre todopoderoso. Señor Hijo único,
Jesucristo.

This month is Respect Life Month and
today is Respect Life Sunday.
To commemorate these events, our group is giving you the
opportunity to express your love for life. After mass, stop by our table, say
hi, and pick up a free wristband. Although the wristband is free we are
asking that if you take one, you wear it as often as possible during the month. If someone asks
you about it, you have to say something positive about life.
The wristbands say “I Love Life’ so your answer can be that simple too “I Love Life”. It is
up to you what you say, but this is our opportunity to show those around us that Catholics love
life, and we want others to love life too. Only God gives life, and believe that only God should
take an innocent life away.
If you don’t want a wristband, stop by anyway and check out the information we have
about saving life, one life at a time, or you can show your support through your donation

Today’s second collection is for the Maintenance Fund
We have a beautiful Church here at Immaculate Heart of Mary and it is important for us to
maintain our Parish. Many things come along and we need to be prepared. That is why we have
developed the Maintenance Fund. This fund is for those unforeseen expenses like we have had this
past year for the air conditioner, leaks in roof, lighting, painting and the list goes on. Your support
has been generous our parish has reaped the benefits and blessings.
