A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held at Mack's
Prairie Wings on June 30
marking the completion
of the new Customer Service Center. This new center
will add up to 50 jobs to
Stuttgart and we are excited Mack's has brought
these jobs home!

Teacher Appreciation Luncheon Aug. 13
The annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, sponsored
by the Kiwanis Club of Stuttgart and the Stuttgart
Chamber of Commerce, will be held Thursday, August
13. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. in Salon A and
B at the Grand Prairie Center. “The theme of this year’s
luncheon is ‘LipSync Battle’. and tickets are $15 each,” said
Kelly Houghton, chairman of the event. “When you buy
your ticket, another ticket is given to a teacher for their
lunch.” Houghton said that this annual appreciation
luncheon is to thank all of the teachers in Stuttgart, both
private and public schools, and get them off to a great start
for the school year.
All certified teachers from public and private schools
are invited to attend. Items are donated by businesses for
goody bags and door prizes for the teachers. The luncheon is open to the public and -tickets may be purchased
by calling the Chamber office at (870) 673-1602.
T-shirts for the luncheon are also being pre-sold. Orders must be turned in by Friday July 24th.
