The annual Fun N’
Fishin derby will be held at
7 a.m., Saturday, June 13, at
the Riceland Foods pond.
The Arkansas Game & Fish
Commission will stock the
pond with 750 pounds of
catfish.
Fun N’ Fishin’ is open to
children 12 years old and
younger. Each child MUST
be accompanied by an adult
sponsor 18 years or older.
There will be prizes given for the 3 largest fish
caught and there will also
be a prize for the smallest
fish. We will have a weigh
master on site.
There is a 10 fish limit,
and only one pole per participant is allowed.
Registration and signing
of consent forms will begin
at 7:00 a.m. that morning.
Fishing will end at 10 a.m.
No one over 12 years old
will be allowed to fish.
Adult supervision is required.
Each participant will receive a goody bag containing a Riceland cap and fishing items donated by various sponsors. The first
200 kids will also receive an
official "Fun N' Fishin" Tshirt.
Children must bring their
own fishing equipment and
bait. Fun N’ Fishin’ is held
to promote the sport of
fishing to young people.
There is no cost for fishing at Fun N’ Fishin. For

Mack’s Prairie Wings has announced two exciting expansions! Mack’s will be opening a new call center and will
also be adding 3,500 additional square feet to their retail
floor space which will include a new bargain blind. A
