O grupo “Ensemble Alpharabius” interpreta algumas
das joias da música culta árabe (Samai, Wasla, Moaxaja, Mawals, Taksims…). O grupo conta também com
a intervenção de uma bailarina de dança oriental,
logrando-se assim um espetáculo repleto de colorido
e beleza que transmite a sensualidade do baile unido
à música.
The group ‘Ensemble Alpharabius’ interprets some
of the gems of the Arab erudite genre (Samai, Wasla,
Moaxaja, Mawals, Taksims…). The group is accompanied by an Oriental dancer, thus delivering a performance filled with colour and beauty which exudes the
sensuality of dance combined with music.

Arlindo Correia Martins nasceu em 28 de junho de
1955, na freguesia de S. Bartolomeu de Messines, de
onde saiu para Alcantarilha na sua infância. Estudou
na Escola Secundária de Silves e na altura, embora a
disciplina de desenho estivesse sempre presente, era
a fotografia que mais o atraia. Nos anos 80, já a residir
em Albufeira, o seu gosto pela fotografia e pela pintura levou-o a realizar algumas exposições. A presente
exposição tem conteúdos paisagísticos, históricos,
entre outros.

Arlindo Correia Martins was born 28th June 1955, in
S. Bartolomeu de Messines, from where he left to Alcantarilha during his childhood. He studied in Silves
Secondary School and at the time, despite being a
keen student of drawing, he was captivated by photography. In the ‘80s, already residing in Albufeira,
his taste for photography and painting resulted in
the putting together of a few exhibitions. This exhibition contains landscape, history and more.

mais uma festa das Chouriças. Esta festa conta com uma procissão, prova
de chouriças assadas e muita animação musical.
In line with tradition, the Querença Parsih Council, together with the Parish
Church of Nossa Senhora da Assunção, will be organising another edition of
the Sausage Feast. The festivities include the procession, grilled sausage tasting sessions and plenty of live music.

Paderne vai recuar no tempo e deixar-se invadir pelas histórias, artes e ofícios de antigamente. Não vão faltar bancas e barraquinhas com as deliciosas

O ponto alto do evento acontece no dia 1 de janeiro, pelas 15h00, com um
cortejo histórico que retrata a cerimónia da entrega da Carta de Doação do
Castelo de Paderne, por D. Dinis, à Ordem de Avis.
The village of Paderne will travel back in time and welcome the stories, arts
and crafts of a bygone era. There will be stalls and tents with delicious delicacies, exhibitions and music performances inspired by the Middle Ages.
The highlight of the event takes place on the 1st January, around 15h00,
with the historical procession that re-enacts the ceremony of delivery of
the Charter of Donation of Paderne Castle by King Dinis to the Order of Avis.
