No dia 14 de fevereiro, o Portimão Arena, irá receber
a banda musical «Anjos» para um grande concerto.
O espetáculo é promovido pela Associação Existir, de
Loulé, e visa «contribuir para a sustentabilidade da
instituição». No concerto, os irmãos Nelson e Sérgio
Rosado vão revisitar «todos os grandes sucessos da
banda numa nova sonoridade, tão do agrado dos portugueses - o acústico».
On the 14th February, Portimão Arena will receive the
band ‘Anjos’ for a great gig. The show is promoted by
Loulé’s Associação Existir and aims to ‘contribute towards the sustainability of this institution’. The brothers
Nelson and Sérgio Rosado will revisit ‘all their greatest
hits in an accoustic interpretation, greatly appreciated
by the Portuguese.’

Se as brincadeiras, mesmo as que nos parecem mais
inocentes, não tivessem consequências, NOME PRÓPRIO não faria sentido. Mas faz, e muito. NOME PRÓPRIO é um espetáculo sobre os não-ditos, as expetativas e as imagens que projetamos nos nossos amigos.
Num jantar, que tinha tudo para dar certo, um equívoco serve de pretexto para que a máscara de cada uma
das personagens caia. E é quando se observam, olhos
nos olhos, que a verdadeira amizade que os une é
posta em prova, num belíssimo texto que só é possível
encontrar na alta comédia.
If larks, even if seemingly innocent, were inconsequential NOME PRÓPRIO would not make any sense.
However, it does make a lot of sense. NOME PRÓPRIO
is a show about non-sayings, expectations, and the
image of ourselves we project onto our friends. At a
dinner that had every chance of success, a misunderstanding is used as the pretext for dropping the masks
of each character. And it’s when the characters look
each other in the eye that the true friendship bringing
them together is tested. A beautiful text that can only
be found in high comedy.

Clotilde Fava, filha do escultor Armado Mesquita e de
Palmira da Costa Pinto Mesquita, nasceu em Lisboa
em 1941. Com o Curso de Escultura pela Escola Superior de Belas Artes de Lisboa, iniciou a sua carreira na
companhia IBM Portugal como Designer. Entre 1964 a
1975, como artista plástica, executou várias obras em
cerâmica para várias instituições. É também representada em diversas coleções particulares, instituições e
museus.

Clotilde Fava, the daughter of the sculptor Armando
Mesquita and Palmira da Costa Pinto Mesquita, was
born in Lisbon in 1941. Having completed the Degree
in Sculpture from the School of Fine Arts of Lisbon,
she began her career in the company IBM Portugal as
a designer. Between 1964 and 1975, she created works
in ceramics for various institutions. Her work is also
represented in various private collections, institutions
and museums.

mais antigos e conhecidos Corsos do País, a cidade
enche-se de cor e alegria. O famoso desfile de carros
alegóricos, com os usuais cabeçudos, grupos de samba, e muita música, é uma festa de todos para todos.
As brincadeiras de sempre e muita animação vão encher as ruas de Loulé.
The Algarve has many long-standing traditions associated with Carnival. Loulé is no exception and has one
of the oldest and best-known parades in the country.
The town is filled with colour and joy. The famous parade of floats, with cabeçudos, samba performers, and
plenty of music - a celebration for everyone. The usual
frolics and entertainment will fill the streets of Loulé
with joy.
