psychoanalyst, who agrees to take responsibility of her so that she
won’t be put in jail. Juan and Marichuy eventually fall in love and
marry, but on the day after the wedding, Marichuy discovers a great
secret from Juan’s past.

Before the 2014 World Cup starts, a two-year, 203-nation
competition determines the 32 teams headed to Brazil. It’s
called “Camino a la Copa” – or Road to the Cup.

One Year Before World Cup, Titans Collide in Brazil
No longer just a dress rehearsal for the following year’s
World Cup, the FIFA Confederations Cup is a huge
tournament in its own right.
The two-week-long event will have an all star lineup in June
2013, with the six FIFA confederation champions (including
Mexico, Uruguay, Japan and the July ‘12 Euro champ),
World Cup winner Spain and the host nation Brazil.

Mexico, US, 10 Others Battle for CONCACAF Title
The Gold Cup, a 25-game tournament is held every two
years throughout the United States. Twelve national teams
– including those of defending champ Mexico and the U.S.
– compete for the North American, Central American and
Caribbean crown.
In the thrilling 2011 final, Mexico played the U.S. and
earned its sixth-every Gold Cup title in front of 93,000
people at the Rose Bowl – and attracted 10.8 million total
viewers on Univision.

The Confederation’s Best
The CONCACAF Champions League (CCL) is the annual club
football championship for teams from the North American,
Central American and Caribbean region. The top clubs from
US, Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras and more compete for the
CCL trophy – and a berth in the FIFA Club World Cup.
 Mexicans teams have dominated the tournament since its
restructuring in 2008, but Major League Soccer teams are

The most popular team among Univision viewers, the Mexican
National Team, faces a crucial 2012 – 13 as it strives to qualify for
the 2014 World Cup. After meeting Costa Rica and El Salvador in
