Taste of Mount Joy, Cruisin’ Cuisine set for July 23
Don’t miss the 14 annual Taste of Mount Joy–Cruisin’Cuisine to be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on
Saturday, July 23, 2016 on Main Street from New Haven Street to Barbara Street and Marietta Avenue to
Henry Street. Open to all classes of cars. More than 50 trophy awards will be given out by various
businesses, clubs and organizations. The Best of Show award is sponsored by Main Street Mount Joy.
Cost to enter the show is $10 for pre-registration or $15 the day of the show. Pre-registration deadline is
July 18, 2016. The first 250 registrants will receive a dash plaque featuring the 2015 Best of Show winner.
Show participant parking begins begins at 9 a.m. No cars will be permitted on Main Street in the main
parking area after 11 a.m. No dogs or bicycles are allowed with show vehicles. Registration or to pick up
pre-registration packets will take place at the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center off Route 772
and Old Market Street. Driving directions are available at www.mainstreetmountjoy.com.
The other main attraction for Cruisin’ Cuisine, is, of course, Mount Joy’s area restaurants, who will have
stands set up with favorites from their menus. All those attending Cruisin’ Cuisine may purchase excellent
fare from these local establishments: Bube’s Brewery, Jane’s Café, Gimmies ( Highlands Of Donegal) ,
Mount Joy Rotary Club, Mosby’s Pub, Rosie’s Tavola , Two Cousins, Harvey’s Main Street B.B.Q, Acorn
Farms, & Ice Cream provided by MSMJ
Live Music performed By Tony Dicarluccio of the Main Street Sweep!
Also new this year is a Pin Up contest sponsored by local businesses Detail Salon, Frankie Johnson Mary
Kay representatives and Mayitas’ Boutique
Event is free admission for spectators. From Noon to 1:00 pm.

Plan to make Mount Joy your weekend destination. Join us Friday, July 22 for Mount Joy’s Fourth Friday –
Race to Taste from 5 – 8 PM. Shop and Dine then join us at Mount Joy Memorial park at dust for ‘Movie in
the park”. On Saturday, stop by First Presbyterian Church located at Main and Marietta Ave for a pancake
breakfast to benefit the local Kiwanis Club runs at 7:am- 10am. So, mark your calendar and plan to enjoy
all the events the weekend of July 22 - 23.
