It is an opportunity to remove the distractions that stand in the way of a personal relationship with Christ. It is led by participants from past retreats who were positively impacted by it. Though testimonial talks, activities and fellowship, you’ll learn to “recognize” Jesus in your everyday activities. Come join us! My Father’s House Retreat Center 39 N. If so, you can pay your weekly envelope payments the same way. Just enter St. Stephen Church, 400 Ridge Road, Hamden CT 06517 as the company to be paid. Use your envelope number as the account number. Make your offertory payments weekly or monthly. Even if you are away, unable to attend Mass, or we have bad weather, the parish still receives the income necessary to pay our bills. It only takes a few minutes to set it up. This is a great option to consider as we head into the next few months of potentially bad weather. The Knights of Columbus Museum, at 1 State Street in New Haven, has a new exhibition, “Fleeing Famine,” centered on the hardships and perils Irish immigrants endured on so-called “coffin ships” as they crossed the Atlantic Ocean in route to North America in the mid-19th century. The show includes a large-scale replica of a sailing ship. Free admission & parking.
