This beautifully illustrated CD-Rom is packed with
fun and easy to use biography activities which
primary and secondary teachers can dip into or
follow consecutively.
The CD was produced to support pupils in reading and
making notes about texts, and to oblige them to
collaborate in gathering and recording information.
The intention was also to expand the range of ‘famous
people’ pupils might read and write about in
biographical text and therefore people of diverse
backgrounds including Polish and Roma have been
included.
It will enhance pupils’ skills in locating information in
texts, giving and receiving information, making notes
and using ‘scaffolding ’ to write their own biographical
texts.
