Class 10 June Newsletter What a fab month we have had in Class 10. I hope that you are as proud of your children as I am, and enjoyed reading their successes in their end of year reports. They are all superstars!!! We all had an amazing trip to White Park Bay. The behaviour and manners of all the children was exceptional; you really can take them anywhere and they always represent the school well. With trips to the cinema, Visit from the ice cream van, Friar Tucks and Solitude Park we have been kept busy. I have had a great Term 3 in Class 10, the children are amazing and are a credit to their parents. I am going to miss the pupils who are moving on to Class 11 but look forward to working with the new boys coming from Class 9. Here we are at the end of the school year already—it is hard to believe! Our pupils have come such a long way over the school year, they have made progress across the board, but I am especially proud of how they have improved their communication skills. They are able to initiate conversations, encourage each other and have fun with their peers—it is lovely to see, and hear! We continued our work on China— looking at their culture, famous places and food. Of course the most fun we had was cooking and tasting a variety of Chinese dishes—home made pot noodles, chicken curry, sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice—it was great fun trying to use the chop sticks. We are delighted to have 2 prize winners in our class—well done Zara for winning the Masterchef cup and Amy for achieving Senior Sports person. Thank you so much for your continued support over the last year—we have had a lot of fun and learned a lot along the way. Have a happy and safe summer—see you next year!
