“Let’s Do L.I.F.E. Together” Capleville Messenger From Pastor Autura Hampton "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." - 1 Corinthians 13:7 It is week 4 of the season of Lent. How are you doing with your Lenten fast? Some of us have given up things we like to eat or love to do. Maybe you have followed the messages from our sermon series and are giving up enemies, feelings of superiority, expectations, or control. Whatever your Lenten discipline, remember the goal is not really about being successful. It is about loving God and drawing nearer to Him. I’m reminded of the second verse of I Am Thine, O Lord that helps me to remember that I serve the one who bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things, Jesus the Christ! Consecrate me now to thy service Lord April 2014 Inside this issue: Fashion Show 2 Principals List 2 Honor Inductees Acolytes Pics Youth Group Visit 3 4 Pantry Anniversary 5 7 Job Fair 7 Altar Flowers Special Care Responsibilities 8 10 Ushers/Birthdays 11 Calendar 12 By the power if grace divine AT A GLANCE Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope • And my will be lost in thine Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord • To the cross where thou hast died • Draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord • To thy precious bleeding side • In the Grip of God’s Grace! These photos will be cared for and displayed in the large photo frame in the UMW room. If anyone has some photos, preferably the size of the photos in the frame in the UMW room…...about 5x7. We would love to display some of the many women who have brought our Unit to the present. Even small photos can be matted and put in frames. The photos need to be labeled for ownership, so they can be returned. We will change them from time-to-time, so hopefully every one of the ladies can enjoy our history. We have such wonderful ladies to draw from in the work we do for Christ’s Church.
