Pastor’s message
Thanksgiving Day is a day to
remember, and give thanks for, the
many blessings that God has bestowed upon our families and our
country. Everything we have, even
though we may have earned it
through hard work, is a gift from God. The fact that
we live in this prosperous and peaceful country, is another one of God’s gifts to us. Let us show our gratitude to God. Above all, let us express our gratitude to
God for His gift of salvation. The gifts that are placed
at the altar are symbols of our gratitude to God. After
the Masses, we will share those gifts with the people
from our parish, especially the elders and the sick.
Happy Thanksgiving
God bless you
Fr. Dave

CTOBER DEVOTION TO BLESSED
VIRGIN MARY
Traditionally the months of May and October
are dedicated to Mary, the mother of Jesus.
The Rosary will be recited a half hour before Mass on
all weekends in October. Please come to Mass early
and bring your children for the Rosary.
Heavenly Father, on Thanksgiving Day we
bow our hearts to You and pray.
We give You thanks for all You’ve done,
Especially for the gift of Jesus, Your Son.
For beauty in nature, Your glory we see;
For joy and health, friends and family,
For daily provision, Your mercy and care
These are the blessings You graciously share.
So today we offer this response of praise
With a promise to follow You
all of our days.
