Pre-registered and walk-in attendants were welcomed with tasty food, excellent music, relaxing chair massages and educational lessons on health and beauty. For the event, Doctors Laurie Toomajanian and Piiamari Bowers were both active in providing guests with information sessions about dental care and their practice. The doctors had their staff of friendly assistants and hygienists available for meeting with attendees, in addition to providing them with tours of the bright, welcoming office. Starbucks gift cards were passed out to the first twenty attendants for their enthusiasm. A drawing was also held for all to enter in which twelve lucky people won either: teeth whitening, electric toothbrushes, Starbucks gift cards, or gift baskets. B 248-348-6780 This dental practice is taking an appointment which some may see as stressful and turning it into a comfortable, relaxed experience through education and relationship building. “Events like this are a unique way for both patients and us to congregate in a way other than a quick, routine trip to the office. It was very gratifying seeing our patients, along with other participants in a social environment,” stated Dr. Bowers. We would like to thank all who showed us their beautiful smiles and helped make the event a pleasurable way to spend a Friday afternoon in downtown Northville. Bikram Yoga Northville is located at 122 MainCenter at Cady, in the heart of beautiful downtown Northville. Bikram Yoga’s beginning 90-minute class is a complete series of 26 postures (asanas) and two breathing exercises (prananyamas) which are suitable for all ages and levels of ability. Each posture stretches and strengthens specific muscles, ligaments, and joints for the next posture, which ultimately balances and strengthens every system in the body in order to prevent illness, injury and limit the effects of aging. This series of postures also increases one’s self-control, which greatly reduces high levels of stress. “Come sweat with us,” invites Curnett. “This yoga never gets boring!” In addition, Bikram Yoga Northville will offer massage by certified therapists as well as a boutique which boasts an array of goods that will nurture your inner yogi/yogini.
