The Senior Regent Says
Hi
This year is almost to an
end. We have a new slate
of Officers that will be
voted on this month and
installed in April. I would
like to thank everyone
that has made our year
successful and for every
ones help. It has been
wonderful to see so many
co-workers attending the
meetings and wanting to
get involved.
Thank You and good luck
to the new board of officers, have a successful
year.

Manatee 58 Moose Legion President Says
My last act as Moose Legion President is the celebration at Lehigh Acres
on March 18th @ noon,
please set this date aside
and plan on attending.
Let’s make this one of the
best turn outs ever.
Manatee 58 Moose Legion
is running neck and neck
to repeat last years goal of
top Moose Legion District
in the country. Our Moose
Legion annual picnic on
February 12th found a
cold and windy day, the
turn out was good - in
spite of the weather everyone there had a great
time –a special thanks to
Port Charlotte Lodge 2121
they were a great host. A
couple of glitches we had
in past years were overcome #1 by Arlene Haire
and her crew at the registration desk. Nancy Lanigan coordinating and over
seeing the kitchen operations. Karen & Barb and
crew on 50/50’s and
ticket sales. Mo Roy and
crew on desserts. Big
thank s to Tommy, Kirt,
Wayne & Ed on the smokers they did a great job. A
very special appreciation
to Bobby Mathias Admin
2121 for going the extra
mile to make it all work.
See you at the Celebration

The Administrator Says
It’s getting to the end of
our fiscal year. Lodge
elections coming up –see
the postings in the lodge
–our year ends April
30th. For the eighth year
in a row we not only have
made many improvements to your Lodge, but
have an increase in active
members and have shown
an increase in net assets,
this is attributed to your
Lodge leadership of
course, but mostly to all
you folks who come out
and support our dinners
and special functions, you
truly have shown your
Punta Gorda Pride
throughout the year –
please continue your support.
See you at the Lodge

A big thank you to all my
helpers and all the donations made to my JDRF
fundraiser, you always
come through. I’m very
proud to be a member of
this Lodge with all of you
wonderful people with
wonderful giving hearts,
thanks to all. Total today
is $4843.00 Sarah
We held our 7th annual
JDRF fund raiser, the
turnout was great you
guys make me so proud
to be a member of this
Lodge and Chapter –
words alone cannot express how touched I was
with your generosity –
especially when Tommy
McClain rolled out a
wheel barrel that should
have been scraped 20 yrs
ago, it was truly junk, but
the bidding started and it
brought in $401.00 –
thanks Peggy & Dewey &
Kim. The Moose Riders
from the scooter raffle
and the poker run donated $1,044.00—the
total for the day was a
whopping $4,843.00
Bless You all
Fred
