Please adopt, foster or sponsor a Special!
About 1/3 of our dogs are what we call ‘Specials’, the old timers, long timers, and dogs with special needs, who
are often overlooked but are also some of the most wonderful and loving companions you can imagine.
Please consider fostering, giving a dog (or two) a temporary home. You do not need to shuttle your foster back
and forth to adoptions, and we can provide food and any needed medicines or veterinary care.
If you do not have room for a dog, perhaps you can sponsor a special, providing financial support for the dog’s
medical needs while they stay at B&B. Many specials need dental, blood and lab work to get back in shape for a
forever home. These tests usually cost around $150-250 or more. Donations can be made online via Paypal.
