BAPTISM
Preparation: Parents must attend one preparation
session before the Baptism. Baptisms are held the
1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.
SPONSORS & GODPARENTS
If you are 18 years of age or older, you must register as an adult (see PARISH REGISTRATION) and
be confirmed in the Catholic Church. If you are
married, your marriage must be recognized by the
Church. This is especially important if you wish to
be a Sponsor for Confirmation or Godparent. It
takes 6 months of attending Mass to be eligible for
both of these privileges.

MARRIAGES
The common policy of marriage requires that arrangements for the Church be made at least ONE
YEAR before the date of the marriage and before
any social plans are made. Either the bride or
groom must be a registered parishioner. Weddings may be scheduled for Friday afternoon or
Saturday morning or afternoon only. Weddings
are not performed on Sunday.

Any new family who has moved into the parish
area and adult children 18 years of age or older, are
invited to register at our parish on the 2nd Sunday
of every month. Also, please notify us if you move.

This year the seventh and eighth grade
students took part in the NJ Stock Market
Challenge. From Feb. 9 through April 17 the
students participated in a simulated stock
trading program. Their returns were based on
the market closing prices. The 8th grade team
of Christian DiLuzio, Anthony DiPalma, David
Ketterer and Jackson Maynaye took First Place
in the Northern Region in NJ. The boys
maintained a 43% return on their portfolio.
Another 8th grade team placed 8th with a
11% return. The seventh grade had a 4th place
with a 15% return, a 7th place with a 11.5%
return and an 11th place with a 10% return.
The entire group involved enjoyed the
program.

FASHION SHOW
To Benefit New Church Handicapped Accessible
Bathrooms
St. Ann Parish is hosting a Luncheon / Fashion Show,
May 31st, 2009 at 11:30 AM at the Bridgewater
Marriott. Tickets are on sale now $55.00 per person,
contact the Rectory Office at 908 725-1008 ext. 113 or
Terry DeMuro at 908 722-2653. The event includes;
fashion show, lunch, entertainment and prizes. All
proceeds to benefit our new handicap accessible
lavatories for the Church.

“Faith Force” Dance Company is a faith-based worship company at Bridgewater Dance Academy. They
perform Modern, Lyrical Jazz and Hip-Hop dances.

School. PLEASE save the date. The beautiful
dances, colorful costumes, and heart-warming songs

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will be
administered during this special healing Mass to those
baptized Catholics wishing to be anointed. In particular,
we invite those who may be bearing the burden of physical, mental or emotional illness, those who may be facing
surgery, those experiencing the challenges of advancing
age, those who may be in need of spiritual strength and
renewal, or other circumstances that might make life
burdensome.
