News about the Sisters from El Salvador
The sisters from El Salvador have sent a formal
letter accepting our request that they come to our
parish and begin work here among the immigrants
and possibly in our school as well. As soon as they
obtain their religious work visas they will be coming to the U.S. This Foundation here in our parish
will be the first one in the U. S. They are in six
other countries presently. We are excited about
them coming to be here and living in the newly
renovated convent. Please pray for the sisters and
that all goes well.
Chapel of St. Toribio News
The altar of St. Toribio room is now being built
and should not take too long to complete. We are
preparing now for the blessing of the chapel and
the reception to follow on Feb. 26th, 2016, the
date of the actual martyrdom of St. Toribio in
1928. I hope you clear your calendar so that you
can attend.
Later on I will publish the information on the
Posadas which will begin December 17th and go
until December 24th. Again I wish everyone a
very good and fruitful Advent. I hope that your
prayer and penance will help to prepare your
hearts to receive Christ the Son of God at Christmas!!
In the meantime, God’s blessings upon you and
your family.
Sincerely yours,
Father Timothy Davison
