obilježavanja raznoraznih važnih datuma, projekata, izvannastavnih aktivnosti, natjecanja i čiste zabave.
uživati čitajući novi broj i u njemu naći

učionicama i zabavnim aktivnostima.
Krenuli smo u školu
mi ovako mali

i sve više znali.
Želimo im sretnih i uspješnih osam godina u našoj školi!
Brojeve i slova

Obilježen Dan igara
Učenici 4.b i 4.c razreda naše škole obilježili su Dan igara 17. rujna
2015. godine, sudjelujući u zajedničkom projektu NIVEA i Saveza Društava naša djeca „Neka odrastanje bude dječja igra“.
Cilj projekta bio je poticati djecu na
zajedničko druženje, učenje i kreativno stvaralaštvo kroz igru u obiteljskom okruženju i u slobodno vrijeme.
igraju u raznim dijelovima svijeta,
tako i u Hrvatskoj.
Jeste li znali?
njihov voditelj i mentor Goran Šporčić.
Proveli su tri prekrasna i sadržajima bogata filmska dana u Sinju. Imali su mogućnost vidjeti čak četrdesetak filmova osnovnih i srednjih škola u svim filmskim
rodovima. Teme su i dalje raznovrsne, većinom vezane uz
školu, obitelj i ljubav.

kroz korelaciju raznih nastavnih sadržaja (likovna umjetnost, biologija,
povijest) potaknemo razvijanje stvaralačkih potencijala mladih ljudi i
Učenice šestog razreda, Matea Rebić, Lea Taus, Petra Domislović i
njihov mentor Mladen Bielicki sudjelovali su na 53. Reviji hrvatskog
filmskog stvaralaštva djece u Rijeci od 30. rujna do 3. listopada 2015.
godine.
organizirali Hrvatski filmski savez i Art-kino Rijeka.

29.09. do 16.10.2015.
Pazinu, Puli, Čakovcu, Rovinju, Novskoj i Kutini.

Paluh (5.r.) i moja malenkost Monika Kljajić (7.r.). Uz
djece u toj ulici potreban nogostup.

Dani kruha
plodove zemlje u organizaciji Koordinacijskog odbora Kutina-Grad-prijatelj djece.
preduvjet njihovog odrastanja u društveno odgovorne mlade ljude.

Radionice i natjecanja iz
robotike
U srijedu, 7.10.2015., u poslijepodnevnom terminu

Godine.
Predajem predmete tehničku kulturu i informatiku.
sam završio nekako me je usmjerio u privredu
poslovima u automobilskoj industriji. To se na
kraju itekako pokazalo korisnim jer sad djeci
Čovjek svojim radom oplemenjuje zemlju, a sebe
Volite li svoj posao i zašto?
vole.
nije teško, ideje frcaju u vašoj glavi i, vjerujte
mi, vrata se otvaraju kad god je to potrebno.
Na koje ste uspjeh u radu ponosni?
Ponosan sam na svaki uspjeh učenika naše
škole.
Što ste kao mali željeli postati?
Moj tata je radio kao profesor povijesti. Brat i
ja voljeli smo slušati razne priče iz povijesti,
posebno grčku i rimsku mitologiju. Odrastali
I brat
danas predaje kao profesor na fakultetu. U
pokreću svijet i čine ga toliko lijepim.
Integritet
Kako ispunjavate slobodno vrijeme?
Sport, prijatelji, filmovi, računalo.
11
ŠTO JE Facebook?
Facebook je internetska društvena mreža, koju je 2004. godine osnovao Mark Zuckerberg, bivši
student Harvarda.
pitanja o omiljenim filmovima, knjigama, glazbi.
imati virtualne kućne ljubimce, slati virtualna pića, darove, zagrljaje i čestitke,
igrati videoigre (CityVille ili FarmVille), organizirati dražbe, rješavati psihološke testove i kvizove,
dodavati omiljenu glazbu, komunicirati putem privatnih poruka i informirati se o svemu.
ODLUČIO SI NAPRAVITI PROFIL NA Facebook STRANICI....
Savjeti u kreiranju vlastitoga identiteta na internetu:

osobine, skolonosti, hobiji...).
Pišu ružne komentare i poruke, dijele neprimjerene
Riješi kviz i otkrij jesi li ovisan o Facebooku:
1. Jutro započinjete surfanjem po Facebooku.
2. Propuštate san zbog korištenja Facebooka.
3. Na Facebooku provodite više od sat
vremena dnevno.
4. Pronalazite nekadašnje prijatelje/ljubavi na Facebooku.

Božićna priredba i novogodišnji disko u školi
DJ-a. Učenike je svojom glazbom zabavljao popularni DJ Šporki, tj. učitelj Goran
Šporčić.
U srijedu, 23. prosinca 2015. godine, u našoj se školi održala Božićna priredba. U
uključeni u ritmiku, zbor, dramsko-recitatorsku skupinu i druge izvannastavne akti
vnosti.

BLIC VIJESTI
Dan ružičastih majica, poznatiji kao
Pink Shirt Day, program je prevencije vršnjačkog nasilja, a obilježava
se zadnje srijede u mjesecu veljači.
Ideja je nastala u znak protesta
zbog incidenta koji se dogodio u
jednoj školi. Inicijativom školskih
kolega je na konstruktivan i inteligentan način riješeno sustavno zlostavljanje dječaka, posvećenog podršci liječenju teško bolesne majke.
Ružičaste majice, koje su solidarno
s dječakom nosili njegovi školski
kolege, postale su prepoznatljiv
simbol inicijative, i kasnije, međunarodno prepoznate obljetnice.
i djelatnici rade i uče surađujući i
poštujući jedni druge. Zbog toga

SCHOOL FOR LIFE
The school is not that bad
But it’s better to be in bed.
So if you are going to school,
better be a student who is cool.
When you get into the classroom,
don’t feel like you are in the bedroom
because, brother or sister,
you are in the classroom.
If you think somebody is better than you,
Don’t beat him out, better start learning
To be better at school.
And if you like a boy or a girl from your school,
But some guy likes her, too,
Go ask her first and she will date you.
Forget about love, start learning for school,
Because marks are very important, too.
So if you are reading this at school,
Then you are very cool.
I am really happy with my marks,
But are you with yours, too?
If you want to answer me call me on
Three-two-two.

Sports, games and hobbies
I go home after school. At weekends I play games on my mobile phone and I play football, badminton, tag, hide-and-seek… In my free time I go cycling and I play computer games once a week, because I play games on my mobile. I collect OK magazines. I don’t learn a foreign language outside
school. My favourite subjects are P.E., art and IT. I want to play the guitar but I have a lot of activities at school. I’m not crazy about sports. I like swimming. In summer, my family and I go to Daruvar. There is a swimmning pool and a spa. It’s beautiful there. Sometimes I go to the seaside.
From time to time I play Monopoly with my two sisters. Every day I go running with Elena, Filip and
Luka. I like going to my cousins’ because they have table tennis. There I play tennis with my cousins
Barbara and Ana-Marija.

The biography of Frank Sinatra
Frank Sinatra was born on 12 th December 1915 in New Jersey. He was an American singer, actor, music producer and director. He was an only child of an Italian immigrant Anthony Martin
Sinatra and Natalie Garaventi. Before Sinatra was born, his mum bought pink clothes because
she hoped that she would give birth to a girl. So, he wore pink clothes for a few years. When he
was 15 years old, he left high school because he wanted to work like a sport’s journalist, but he
couldn’t because he was too young. He started working as a truck driver for a newspaper company. When he heard Bill Crosby’s songs, he wanted to become a singer. He never knew the
notes but he had a perfect sense for rhythm. He married four times and dated some of the most
beautiful women in the world. In 1939, he married his first love Nancy Barbata and they had
three kids. After 12 years of marriage they got divorced because he cheated on her with Ava
Gardner. In 1966, he married 30-years younger Mia Farrow but they got divorced 16 months later. In 1976, he married Barbara Marx who stayed with him until his death. In the 1960’s rock became popular and his career fell down. After that he decided to be an actor. He got an Oscar for
the best actor in movie From Here to Eternity. He also got his star in Hollywood walk of fame. He
died on 14th May 1998 in Los Angeles from heart attack. People remember him for his hits such
as Fly me to the Moon, Strangers in the night, New York, New York, My way and other. He recorded more than 100 albums and 58 films and that is why I find him a hero of the 20 th century.

September, 2015
Welcome to Grade 1!
7th September 2015 was the first day of school in the new school year.
Our school is richer for 57 new pupils who started the first grade and
who felt special on that day.
Teachers Ivana Špiljak, Ivana Madunić and Đurđa Radošević, together
with other colleagues and pupils eagerly waited for the first graders on
their first day.
We all greeted them with a short welcome show, nicely decorated
classrooms and fun activites.
Krenuli smo u školu

The aim of the project was to inspire
children to spend more time together,
to learn and be creative through play
in a family surrounding and in their
free time. The accent was on popular games of European children
which are played in their original or
adapted way in various parts of the
world as well as in Croatia.

Stjepan Kefelja Primary School on Croatian School Film Festival in Sinj
From 16th to 18th September 2015 the third in a row Croatian School Film Festival for primary and
secondary school children was held in Sinj. The host was Ivan Lovrić Primary School in Sinj.
Stjepan Kefelja Primary School was invited to the festival thanks to the film Zlo se dobrim vraća, the
work of our school's film group. The school was represented by pupils Josip Ćorković (grade 8) and
Bruno Pavličić (grade 7) as well as their mentor Goran Šporčić.
They spent three beautiful action and film-packed days in
Sinj. They had the opportunity to see even forty films by primary and secondary schools of all film genres. There were
various themes, mainly connected with school, family and
love. They discussed films, had fun, walked around Sinj and
met lots of interesting people from all over Croatia.
The motivation is here again, and on Monday after the festival new scripts started arriving.

53th Children’s Film Festival
6th graders, Matea Rebić, Lea Taus, Petra Domislović and their mentor
Mladen Bielicki participated at 53th Chilredren’s Film Festival in Rijeka from
30 September to 3 October 2015. The participants stayed at Marina Botel.
Staying at the hotel was a special experience because of the strong wind
which was rocking it. The festival was organized by Croatian Film Union
and Art-kino Rijeka. Three of our films were screened on the festival, „Be
my friend“, „Something unusual“ and „Respond to evil with good“. 14 short
films were screened in Art-kino Croatia. All together 92 films were screened
in the following categories: documentary, feature, animated, reports and
other. Pupils visited Opatija and Trsat by bus. After exciting days spent at
the festival, a disco night at Marina ship followed. On the last day of the
festival awards were given for children’s best realization and the closing
ceremony. Having our films screened on the festival was a big success for
our film group!

Children's Week - Children meet the mayor
Every year during Children's Week there is a meeting
with a mayor organized in our town. On 5 October
2015 we were invited into the Town Hall. Our school
was represented by my friend Mihaela Paluh (grade 5)
and me. There were lots of other children from other
schools in town and different associations. The mayor
had to answer lots of various questions, inlcuding ours.
We wanted to find out when would our school's leaking
roof be fixed and what are the possibilities of getting
lockers in school. What else bothers us is a very busy
street in which two of us live (Kutinska lipa). We think
that a sidewalk is needed in that street because of children's safety. We were also interested in what was
happening with the maternity ward in our clinic that everybody was so much talking about before.
We were proud when Mrs Molnar and Mrs Vlahek, who organized the meeting, greeted our activity. Meeting
the mayor was very interesting. We had a nice time and fun and we can't wait for the next meeting!

Bread Days
This year we have participated in the traditional charity fair for Bread and Thanksgiving for the Fruits of the
Country Day, organized by the Coordination Committee of Quince City—children’s friend. The theme of our
stand was "A BASKET FULL OF HEALTH ". Our beloved
mothers, grandmothers, few dads or grandfathers,
made pastries, cakes and breads or baskets which we
filled with delicious products, making baskets of
health. Despite the wet weather which didn’t allow us to present the stand in its " full glory ", we managed to
win a high, second place. We were proud to see our delicious products were sold out and that we earned
funds which will partly be paid through the Coordinating Committee for Assistance to refugees , and partly for
the UNICEF project " Schools for Africa " in which we have this year involved .
M. Cvitković
With this project, more than 80,000 children and young people in Croatia, together with their teachers, parents and local communities, help children of Burkina Faso realize their rights and build a safe place to play
and learn. Besides, the humanitarian project " Schools for Africa " has an educational purpose. We wish to
thank all students, staff, parents and people with big hearts who have contributed to this purpose. Though
the project children develop values such as humanity, tolerance and interdependence, which are a prerequisite of their growing up in socially responsible young people.

Robotics workshops and
competitions
On a Wednesday afternoon, on 7 October 2015,
a robotics workshop was held in our school, organized by the Association of Technical Culture
Kutina and Popovača.
Twenty pupils from our school participated in
the workshop.
After introducing pupils with robotics, pupils were divided into teams who worked on different tasks. The
workshop was led by Vlado Lendvaj, graduate computer scientist from Popovača and our technical education
teacher, Goran Šporčić.
The workshop was successful! The aim of the workshop was to promote robotics in our town, which is open
to young inovators and new technologies, as well as to encourage pupils and their parents to see the importance of directing children towards technical sciences which
are the future of the economic growth. Besides, children
worked together in a fun and positive atmoshpere and have
learnt the basics of robotics.
The next robotics workshop was agreed upon, which was
held in our school on 15 October 2015. The workshop was
ment to be a meeting of children, parents and teachers and
it delighted all the present.
Our roboticists participated in two robotic competitions this school year. In Zagreb's Primary School Mato Lovrak a competition of the best roboticists in eight categories according to the rules of world robotic organizations, Robocup Zagreb Open, was held, and on February 20, City Sports Hall in Ludbreg hosted RoboCup Junior Ludbreg Open 2016, where our roboticists demonstrated their knowledge and confirmed that they belong among the best.

Members of our project team were eagerly waiting for the start the new school year and immediately
after returning from summer holidays, they started a great and memorable project in cooperation with
Croatian Telecom with which they sent out a message 'TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER'. Months of hard
work paid off and the project ROBOFILMAŠI won 70,000.00 kunas for our school! We talked to teacher
Goran Šporčić so you can read the interview ...
32
How many years have you worked in our
school as a teacher? What subjects do you
teach?
I have worked in Stjepan Kefelja Primary School
since 2005. I teach Technical Education and IT.
Was this teaching job your first
employment?
Already in high school I knew what I wanted to
do in life. I wanted to work with children and be
a lecturer, a teacher. The university I graduated
from somehow directed me into the economy
and production and so, before school I worked
in the production processes of the two largest
factories in Kutina and later had a managerial
job in the automotive industry. This eventually
turned out very useful because now I can teach
children from my experience of production and
how things really are in real life. I also consider
my working experience I gained as a student,
working for Zagreb companies, important.
The most important thing as far as the work is
concerned is the attitude towards work which is
acquired in childhood. I grew up in a village, in
Repušnica, where people work a lot. Work gives
a man a dignity. A man is born to work like a
bird is born to fly. Today there is a crisis when it
comes to jobs. A large number of people are
unemployed. For us adults the responsibility is
to teach children and enable them to overcome
obstacles and build their dignity.
Do you like your job and why?
I love my job and I find it a very responsible
job, because in addition to educating and raise
our children. Why? Because I want in my life to
do what I love. I say, and his disciples, on their
way in life for what satisfies them and which
would like to deal with in life, they love. Because
when someone loves what he does and when he
does with passion, then there is nothing I will
not do it. Adrenaline you constantly elevated,
you smile constantly on his face, nothing you do
not mind, the idea of flying all around in your
head and, believe me, the door is open whenever the need arises.
For you success in the work of proud?
I'm proud of every achievement of students of
our school.
What did you want to become as a little?
My dad worked as a history professor. My brother and I we loved hearing stories from history,
especially Greek and Roman mythology. We
grew up with control, directories, lesson plans,
so that the wound got into us. And brother now
teaches as a professor at the university. At first
I wanted to and I like daddy taught history.
Then the 80s emerged computers and love for
technology. So it finally merged in teachers
technical education and computer science.
What qualities you value in students and with
people in general?
Selflessness - Those people who are inherently
self-giving to others have the power to do that
others feel loved, valued and special, while those who deal with them just do the opposite.
Tolerance - We are all different and each of us
has the occasional "flaw" or something that
stands out from other people. It is these differences make the world and make it so beautiful.
Honesty - being open, authentic and direct.
Sentiment - so we are focused on what is important to ourselves that we forget those around
us. Those who are sensitive have a greater empathy, higher prices and more people pay attention to their actions and words affect others.
Integrity
How do you fulfill your free time?
Sports, friends, movies, computer.

Facebook is an online social network which was founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg, a former
Harvard student. In its early stage, Facebook was intended only to students at Harvard University
who, in this way, could communicate with each other and exchange information.
Later, many other universities , high schools and large companies around the world have joined
the network . Today 's web page has more than 1.230,000,000 active users. Facebook is the most
popular place for the publication of photos, with more than 14 million new photos added daily.
A valid e - mail address is all that is required to register and create a profile on Facebook. When
you are registered, you can edit your profile and join the regional network, where you can meet
people from your surrounding.
What is Facebook used for?
Users are encouraged to send this personal information, post photos, to answer questions about
favorite movies, books, music. Profiles with real names and authentic information about individual
users are the reasons of the popularity of Facebook because everyone wants to know more about
their acquaintances and friends.
The main peculiarity of Facebook are many applications that can be added to the profile. So, it is
possible to have virtual pets, send virtual drinks, gifts, hugs and congratulations, play video
games (CityVille or FarmVille) , organize an auction , do psychological tests and quizzes, add your
favorite music, communicate through private messages and get information about everything.
You decided to create a profile on Facebook page ....
Tips to create your own identity on the Internet:
1. When you present yourself, think about what others will think
about you.
2. Do not overdo it and do not present yourself as someone else because that could create problems.
3. Take responsibility for how you present yourself.
4. Lying about yourself can be dangerous.

Each person is an individual for himself, unique and unrepeatable. There are no two equal
persons. Each of us likes different things and is different in character so we react differently to
the same situation. Look at the people around you and you will notice that they are different:
some are shy and do not like to stand out, others are open, communicative and loud, good at
sports, some love songs and dance, some like mathematics and the other English, some are
frivolous and lazy and the other hard-working and conscientious. All of it mentioned builds us
as a person, that is, determines our identity. Identity is a fact that make one person different
from another (name, place of residence, characteristics, propensity, hobbies ...).
In the virtual world we choose how we will be present. There, no one can actually see, we have
freedom in creating their identity. This allows us to exaggerate in its presentation, and often
deceive so we liked others. Those who are not accepted in society, trying a false identity to
attract friends. Some lie because of his shyness and thus try to say what you can not in reality.
Some create a false identity for fun or out of curiosity to see other people's reactions.
Unfortunately, many people falsely claiming to have hurt others. They write bad comments and
messages, share inappropriate pictures or video content hiding behind false profiles.
Do the quiz and find out if you are a Facebook addict:
1. You start the day by surfing through Facebook.
2. You sleep less because of Facebook.
3. You spend more than one hour a day on Facebook.
4. You look for ex girlfriends/boyfriends and friends on Facebook.
5. The idea of stopping using Facebook upsets you.
If your answer to questions 1, 2 i 6 are YES, you are addicted to Facebook in a way. If you agree
with all the three statements, your addiction can be strong and you should think about it.
The others do not need to worry.

OUR SCHOOL WORK FROM ENGLISH CLASSES
